Challenging the gendered assumptions that men are the breadwinners and women are natural caregivers is a big goal in feminism. My school is full of feminists so i just wanna make sure that i know what to say if they bring any of these things up :) I think we should pay teachers more in general- I value their work far more than some high payed fields like banking. And men that go into teaching do get affirmative action (at least in the UK)- although 64% of secondary school teachers are women, only 38% of head teachers are women. -8	What if It’s not a movement to point out men’s misdeeds, it’s a movement to point out harasser’s misdeeds, I think you may be conflating the two. High profile men have taken part in the metoo movement and the public view has been largely sympathetic- Terry Crews, for example. If there are people attacking men participating in the movement, then they are attacking them for speaking out, not for being men. I think that a lot of these problems don’t stem from misogyny or misandry but the strict enforcement of gender roles. 1	An emphasis on women's underrepresentation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math roles (STEM) has not been matched by a similar concern about men's underrepresentation in Healthcare, Early Education, and Domestic roles (HEED). I’m glad that trade work isn’t that stereotype anymore, but I’m sure that’s what lots of women perceive it as, similar to how men see care work as a female stereotype. Also in the past pretty much ALL fields were male-dominated and hostile so it was either enter those fields or don’t work.
