Hey super late reply- We do our own thing now and it's great! We are both so much happier.

Thank you for the Strong Curves recommendation. It looks like a more happy medium between my style of working out and his. I may have to give it a try :-)

Thank you for this super logical post! I'm 5'8, 125lbs, 26 inch waist. I take care of myself, I just simply hate lifting heavy weights.

This is actually not the case and he has personally said this- he literally just wants a gym buddy. The program we're on is not even supposed to really change your physique the main focus is getting stronger on the basics. If he was on a specific agenda to transform my butt, there would much more tailored exercises he could have me do.

I think it's a cute idea. However, could you bake the treats for everyone who works at the community center (perhaps, individually wrapping them with a baggy and ribbon) and hand them out? This will show that you are thoughtful (to everyone, not just a guy you're interested in) while at the same time giving you an opportunity too create conversation without seeming to forward. Good luck!

I agree, it is the main cause of my stress. I am working towards/planning to start physician assistant school in about 2 years. That way I can work normal clinic hours in primary care; but until then I can't afford not to work and I don't want to explain to the PA school admissions committee why I left a job after such a short time. Thank you, your input is greatly appreciated.

I just started working as a nurse in January. It's my first nursing job and first full time job, so I feel like it's too soon for me to switch just yet. Besides, three 14 hour shifts per week is pretty standard in nursing, and at least in this job (chronic care) I am guaranteed Sunday's off because the clinic is closed.

I am so glad you understand. So many people tell me they wish they had my schedule, but it gets old really quick. I appreciate your tips :)

We do work out together. We love it, but because of our schedules it rarely happens. He works a regular 9-5 but more often than not stays late. I start extremely early, usually 4am, so by the time he is home and ready to workout I'm getting ready for bed. Also, he plays club sports about 3xs a week and I can't join because I can't commit to always being there with such an irregular work schedule.

I buy a lot of my "daytime" outfits at loft and madewell. I buy dresses and going out clothes from ASOS and Lulus. I highly recommend Lulus for dresses with a decent quality/price ratio. For reference, I am college aged.

You're right I'm definitely over-thinking it. To answer your question, I would like to buy her a gift but worry that, as laflueriste pointed out, it could come off as presumptuous. We did get each other Christmas gifts, but I'm just not sure about Mother's day etiquette.

First thing that pops into mind is scheduling him a professional massage.

I would be concerned by a man who spontaneously buys lavish gifts but doesn't own his own vehicle .

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
