Thanks! I try, but sometimes I mix up stuff (learning and teaching is the same in my native language) or just make stupid mistakes (love can have a nonsexual meaning in my first language, got me some hate because i used it wrong in regard to children) . Sorry, I do became happy after marrying my husband. Without him it would have been a different story. We're together 9 years and have 3 kids. But you cannot be happy married without putting in the work, both, to grow together. It isn't easy, but it is very rewarding. Communication and compassion is key.

No, in my country you do not have to wait a year. Just get mediation to divide stuff and a parenting plan. If there is no kid and no financial stuff you can be seperated within a month of the first step. And it wasn't like he did the whole divorce in three days, just the first step

I think it is because of history. Not so long ago married women couldn't own property, money or buy anything without consent of their husband (they needed his signature). It's a swing reaction.
