I have a therapist friend who is like 6' 4"and beautiful. You should see some of the messages she gets in dating apps. They come across as desperate, creepy and weird. Females do it to males, and males do it to females. Online dating is difficult. Another coworker just yesterday was talking about how she wants people to stop treating her as meat as well, going directly to "Netflix and chill". Your frustration is understandable, but your situation is not unique. I can guarantee your frustration i…

I (f) was 30 when I lost my virginity. Don't be so hard on yourself. Hang out with girls as friends and don't put them on a pedestal. See a doc about anxiety medication.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fight-or-flight_response is all part of the arousal response. Orgasm isn't a "clear message", and shouldn't be used as an indicator for consent. The onus is never on one person solely. A good Dom cares for his subs mental and physical well being. I encourage you to talk to people in the kinky community, and you will clearly find the community at large decries HIS actions, not hers.

I take public transit daily, it can depend a bit on the time of day. In the morning I don't feel like talking much, but if I recognize people I will smile and nod, perhaps a "good morning". If the train is crowded you could comment on it to open up a conversation and introduce yourself. Acknowledge the other friends and make smalltalk. It's fine if you just go over and talk to her.

a person who immediately makes sexual remarks will be passed off as creepy, but a person who pays attention to me, and makes an effort to get to know me and be friends first will be clear to make some raunchy jokes. I have a easygoing personality and I give as good as I get in the jokes/remarks/teasing department. With my current SO, he got to know me, and we had some deep conversations. He actually formally asked me if he could court me which surprised and touched me.

Girl here, When I was in community college I knew this rather large nerdy guy who might've passed just for a friend if not for the fact that he was forward with his physical interest in me. I remember that he made a comment that even if I was in a sweatshirt, he said his imagination would still run. Now, I consider myself dumpy and plain looking so for him to basically say "I see you as a sexual being" was new to me and intriguing. I'm telling you this to relate that if you don't see girls as se…

I wouldn't say all. It's a back and forth about what play between two people entails. Just because a sub wants something doesn't mean that they get it. Doms can and should call safewords as well. You're spot on about the trust. I'm not sure what you mean by "if you know what to look for"

I love playing chess, but hadn't had the opportunity until my current SO. He's much better than me but I still enjoy trying to beat him.

Ah, girl here who is very allergic to some flowers. Just wanted to say that you should feel her out as to what types of flowers she likes if any.

thanks for your opinion/response! I very specifically didn't say all, because I know blanket statements like that are dumb. I do feel like an inordinate amount of women are manipulative, and I see it in some of the women around me, and even in myself on occasion. It's something that frustrates me. I want more communication and honesty between people. I absolutely know that it goes the other way and Men will do the same manipulative and underhanded things. For me the message to be yourself, is to…

they would probably flip their shit if something like this was posted there. I appreciate snark! I realize that this .. ironic coming from "someone like me". But I've found that this lifestyle with Him has led me to be the truest I have ever been thus far. I have zilch for self confidence and He helps me cultivate it.

I have been a sub for about 4 months, because a guy approached me as himself and told me he wanted me. it was \my\ decision to enter into a relationship with him. I've felt the way I described in my post WAY longer than 4 months. Been a woman all my life ;) soo.. it's relatively unrelated to why I decided to post this.
