Yeah, and people lobbied against concealed carry in texas claiming there would be a shootout at every street corner. Crazy how it don't be like that.

You still have to prove it. You can't just simply go for it. If there is clear evidence of it not being intentional then it's not homicide plane and simple. You can't just simply claim it as homicide and magically it is, that's not how the law works. Any lawyer worth his bar liscense would see that and therefore the guy wouldn't be facing murder. If there is clear evidence that the death wasn't intentional then you can't prove murder. That is the law

You have to prove that she had intention to kill him beyond a reasonable doubt. That fact that they guy convenced her to do it, and that she didn't do it willingly, throws 2nd degree murder out the window you can't even call this voluntary manslaughter, as there is reason beyond doubt that she did not intentionally kill him.

If you shoot, you do not shoot to wound. Do some research and you will see a consensus on why its a bad idea. The CNN link below is a good article, but the video does not really fit some of the scenarios they talk about. If you decide that you need to pull the trigger, shooting to maim is not a good thing for two reasons. A) Your target can still be a threat after being wounded B) In the heat of the moment accuracy goes down the drain, and shooting to wound is impossible. So you aim for bigger a…
