Why don't those oppressed western women take those jobs then? You will have to ask them individually, I can't answer for what most women do.
/r/MensRights09/11/22 02:22 PM

Obviously they will hire professional builders to build. The gender of the builders doesn't matter does it, as they are being paid for the work they are hired to do so can choose to take on the job or not.

So much for an honest and frank discussion then.

Where did I say that you have rights that I don't? I can thank feminism for that. I won't comment on the male/female experience in America since I don't live there.

Mezisto Indians? Lavey satanists? Bob Uecker? I don't know what any of those are. People who believe that women are second class citizens, i.e. religious people can’t be feminists. It's that simple. To be feminist you must believe women have equal value to men as humans and deserve equal rights to men.

This is a joke, right?

I'm glad you finally read it. I don't agree with her either for what it's worth. But then again, I'm a feminist. She clearly isn't, as she is a mormon. One cannot be both.
/r/MensRights09/11/22 12:27 AM

I've met many religious people. Why?
/r/MensRights09/11/22 12:08 AM

No, I can. I agree I was wrong. It seems she does call herself a feminist. Now, why haven't you read the podcast link you provided?
/r/MensRights09/11/22 12:07 AM

You're talking about people who are not really religious but claim to be?
/r/MensRights09/11/22 12:00 AM

Radical assholes yes, feminists no, as most major religions treat women as second class citizens.
/r/MensRights08/11/22 11:45 PM
-21

Yes I did, and I agree she is a feminist, which I find surprising since she also calls herself a mormon. Interesting eh? But why didn't you listen to the podcast or read the transcript of it? If you did then her stance would become clear.
/r/MensRights08/11/22 11:43 PM

Thanks for posting that podcast transcription, very interesting. You clearly haven't read it or listened to it

You do realise this is a mormon woman, not likely to be a feminist. Why are you attributing this to feminism? Just so you can be angry at feminism?

All of the amazing achievements in our society, from brilliant works of art to mind blowing advancements in technology have come from the minds of men I think you mean the minds of humans (includes women as well as men). Strength, integrity, honesty, intellect, determination, ingenuity…all traits that men embody. All traits some men and some women embody. Please know that there are women in the world who are grateful to look up to you as a leader Just as there are men in the world who are gratef…

It's the first one. He didn't go to a feminist sub to vent, he was responding to a question posed to the askfeminist sub. I don't understand why you think it doesn't make sense for him to do that. Many men are feminists, it's not an oxymoron.
/r/MensRights05/11/22 06:02 PM

So you're just a woman hater and not for equality. There's no need for you and me to speak again then. I care about equality.
/r/MensRights03/11/22 08:53 PM

How come? Do you think men can be trusted by what they say but women can't?
/r/MensRights03/11/22 08:48 PM
3

Shouldn't that be 'don't pay attention to what people SAY, pay attention to what they DO' ?
/r/MensRights03/11/22 08:18 PM
2

How do you make that out? I mean in this sub people are always complaining about women leaving with half the marital assets after divorce, and say that both parties should keep their own stuff only. Why would you have a problem here where the much higher earner got to keep most of the assets? Is it just because it's a woman who's the higher earner in this case?

You're using the ok cupid study (haha!) and the women are wonderful effect to "prove" that most of women's issues are caused by men with poor mental/emotional health and that an unwillingness of women to admit that their taste for criticism and non empathy towards males is too dehumanising for modern times? How so?

So you still can't provide evidence? What was the point of this post if you have no evidence for your assertions and are not even going to try to provide any?

If most of women's issues are caused by men with poor mental/emotional health, why is that not a focus of feminism? First of all who has asserted that most of women's issues are caused by men with poor mental/emotional health? I don't believe that I've ever read or heard this assertion, where did you get this idea? from women's side: an unwillingness to admit that their taste for criticism and non-empathy towards males -- while useful for evolution and competition -- is perhaps a bit too dehuman…

No, she's saying there shouldn't be a problem with 9 women, since there wasn't a problem with 9 men. She was making a point.

And yet almost every woman uses this tactic. Not even close. And of course why are men told it’s normal behaviour and we should accept it? Who is telling men in particular that it's normal behaviour and they should accept it? You're bordering on misogyny here by saying that almost all women are abusive.

Dude you're just digging yourself into a hole here with all your replies. Now you're going on about legalising domestic violence, how did your mind get to here? Maybe calm down a little and think before you type.

Yeah she really came out better than you in that conversation. Her points were well thought out and clear, while yours were reactive and defensive. You should practice some of that empathy you were going on about, as I don't think you have ever put yourself in a woman's shoes.
/r/MensRights01/11/22 01:44 AM

Yeah but her thought process was a good one. She's saying that marriage should be a partnership and not all about the man's money. That's pretty mature and sensible of her. Guaranteed any guy saying I am afraid to ever get married in case I lose half my money is just a little boy who doesn't actually have any money.

P.S. Do not write HER anything, this is just to show you how THEY think. You have linked two comments from one person and decided for yourself this is how all feminists think. Pretty poor argument really. Also, what's actually wrong with what she said?

It's common for abusive people, both men and women, to try to isolate their partner from friends and family. This is not something that happens specifically to men.

How many lives have been ruined by being falsely accused of murder? Of pedophilia? Of harming animals? Of theft? Why do you only care about false accusations of rape or sexual assault made against men? Why aren't you up in arms about all the other people, men and women, having their lives ruined by false accusations of other crimes? Could it be because you only want to disbelieve women? For some reason?

I'm saying they build a career/status/wealth thinking that men find that attractive Or they build a career/status/wealth as a way to feel a sense of achievement, why exactly do you think everything women do is designed to attract men? Men don't really care about women's' careers I think most women with careers don't really give a fuck what men think of it. https://slate.com/human-interest/2009/05/women-are-more-unhappy-than-ever.html Now show me the men's one, how happy are men compared to 35 ye…

I wasn't alive in the 1940's. would you survive as an oppressed woman sitting comfortably at home? I'm not an oppressed woman sitting comfortably at home. I go out to work in a hard job 55 hours a week. What are you even talking about?

We're saying society (especially now) offers men fuck all & offers women a lot of (unearned) privileges. And this is exactly why men's rights is not taken seriously. You're spreading an outright lie with no basis in reality.

Even "kill all men" messages easily get thousands of likes. But apparently that's all okay? Who says that's ok? If you feel so strongly about it why don't you write your own article about it? You are a complete & utter moron for taking feminist "research", reported by the Guardian of all places, seriously. And yet you're here arguing against it which means you take it seriously too.

Because they were pigeonholed early in their lives into being the punchline, the loser, the loner, the virgin, bullied and abused, not given the opportunities to gain confidence, social connections, and a sense of hope for the future. That has very serious, very long-lasting effects on a man's ability to present as being even slightly worthy of praise or acceptance or love. It can create a very deep sense of worthlessness, hopelessness, self-hatred, depression, and yes, sometimes aggressive nihi…

Again, lots of opinions with nothing to back them up. What proof exactly do you have that women going through what was mentioned above become rabid, bitter and hateful? None, obviously. Or that men are kicked while they are down? None obviously.

Ah, yes, the "men choose not to take it" argument. Yeah, you try being a non-traditional man and see how far that gets you in life. Sure, we can choose not to be that, but... oh hey, that's how incels get made! Isn't that the same argument as "sure, women make less money, but that's because they 'choose' lower paying jobs or to work fewer hours"? . I'm already non traditional and yeah, many people don't understand it but that's their problem, I still do what I want. And just to be clear, incels …

That doesn't really help explain why the person above thinks that men who experience that turn into dangerous incels but women who experience that don't.

They've become the man they want to marry instead of the woman men want to marry and are left holding the bag You're saying here that modern women are more like men than women, have I got that right? If that's what you mean then please explain how so? And they've never been more miserable Who exactly have never been more miserable? And compared to who? Please provide some evidence with your answer.

I'm suggesting giving men the same facilities, encouragement, support, and services that women have Men have always had them. There's no need to be angry now that women also have facilities, encouragement, support and services, especially when you realise that most of these are new to women in the last number of decades. I'm suggesting that men shouldn't still be treated as though it's the 1950s where we're supposed to be the pillar of the family, the breadwinner, responsible for anything and ev…

you don't think it would damage a man's self-confidence to know that he is excluded from such schemes, that everything he does must be purely his own effort, while he's working hard for scraps of validation and being told that he's never good enough, that he always needs to be better, that he doesn't deserve help It's like you're this close to understanding how life has been for women up to now, but instead of suggesting equality, you are suggesting that men deserve 'more', somehow? Are you list…

If feminism promised personal satisfaction, it doesn’t seem to be delivering it. Feminism didn't promise that though. Feminism only allowed women to be on a level playing field with men, able to have a job, career, able to vote, able to decide how to live their own life. After that it's up to each individual to find their own happiness in life right?

Go ahead and keep suppressing them and keep shitting on them but I assure you that this achieves nothing as the underlying issue remains. And their numbers are growing. I haven't suppressed anyone or shit on anyone. I agree with you that the underlying issue remains, as long as incels keep believing "women" are the reason they're not happy in their own life, the longer this problem keeps going on. This is not a good thing, I'm unsure why you sound so smug saying their numbers are growing.

None of what you've listed here is helpful to a man or a woman going through depression and feeling they are worthless. Why do you think men in particular should be treated as special?

Men who are anxious, men who are depressed, men who are autistic (and/or who have other psychological and developmental disorders). Men who don't see their lives resembling the Disney movie they were sold, or even the pale shadow of it that their peers are living. Men who feel hopeless, who see no future, who feel unloved, who experience no compassion or intimacy, who often grew up being ignored, bullied, and abused. So what do you think happens to women who grow up experiencing everything you'v…

Experts fear rising global ‘incel’ culture could provoke terrorism Yes. Does that not worry you? From the article: "Almost 1000 references to dehumanising misogyny or violent action are recorded each day in the 'incelosphere'" "numbers have steadily increased since, now rising to a daily total of 849 references, prompting fears over the movement's trajectory following a series of terrorist attacks linked to online misogynists" We should all be worried about incels, who by the way are not pure in…
