Well I just thought that if she has been with him for 10 years there must be SOMETHING she finds attractive in him...and it's obviously not his appearance so... Inner beauty? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Alternatively, yeah, maybe she is just really insecure and thinks she can't do better...

It's something I often wonder about, why don't people treat dating as friendships. You can't be friends with everyone, you don't need or want to be friends with everyone and you especially don't want to be friends with people who treat you badly and disrespect you. So why is it suddenly okay when it comes to dating? If someone is wasting your time, taking advantage of you and making you feel bad, would you stick around and wait for them to become a better friend? Most likely not. So don't accept…

I think this is a troll. If not, I also think it's time for women to stop "going silent" Every time their partner disrespects them and start calling them out on their bullshit.

I think what he is trying to say is that if she wants hotter guys to message her, she should "improve her body", therefore implying she isnt that attractive. The guy's ego somehow got hurt by the fact that she has standards so he is subtly trying to bring her down, instead of working on his own insecurities. Classic LVM. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't even want to read the post because I can't deal with animal cruelty. But this man deserves to have his knees broken and this woman sounds so incredibly stupid it makes me mad. I mostly feel bad for the animal, poor dog...I hope they give it to someone who actually cares about animals and get it away from their idiotic, toxic relationship...

It's mostly because they are only nice and friendly to women they want to sleep with it. There are exceptions to the rule, but most guys will treat you as if you are invisible if they don't find you at least a bit attractive.

Ive never understood guys who write a list of criteria that a woman must meet on their dating bios but then never say what they offer in exchange? Like this guy, except for the "high opinion" Of yourself, what else are you bringing to the table? Good looks? Expensive dates? 3 home cooked meals a day? Connections in corporate finance? Some people need to realize that just existing is not an accomplishment. And despite what PUA forums say, "self confidence" Is not enough... I mean, even job postin…

I remember seeing that documentary, it really changed my view on porn as well. A lot of these girls were fresh out of high school, quite naive and from poor backgrounds and thought porn was easy money and in a few months they would be able to afford a big house and an expensive car, like Mia Khalifa... I think they were only well paid for the first few "scenes" They did and after that it was either getting into more "hardcore" Stuff or being paid no more than 500$ per scene... And the saddest pa…

Yeah thinking back to that experience make some realize how much shit I used to put up with. It was my "cool girl" Period so I was trying to be less "high maintenance" And "just live in the moment". After that kebab date I realized I never want to go through that again so I went back to being my true, spoiled and picky self and am much happier today. 👑

Omg just realized none of my exes ever truly apologized... Even if they were begging me back the best I've heard is "I cant accept I've lost you forever" Or "I am sorry things ended like this" But never a the apology like... "I apologize for being such a shitty human and hurting you" Without asking for a second chance or to "meet up"... So even then it's all about them and about their feelings and not about being sorry for how they acted. Sad.

My third and last tinder date was last summer - met a guy for a "picnic" So I thought each one if us will bring what we feel like. I bring a bottle if wine and he brings... Nothing. I poured him a glass and then had the rest of the bottle by myself to wash down the disappointment. Obviously the date didn't last long and it ended at a kebab shop where he order one for himself (didn't even ask if I wanted something, not that I would touch anything in that place with a stick) so I just sat in that …

Do you enjoy things? I am asking because if the only way you spend your time is by talking to others or posting online, then you aren't really used to doing things on your own. I used to kind of feel like you until I realized I had no idea how to spend time by myself and what I enjoy doing. I was going to work and then going out with friends. This is men actually being the most honest they can be... Maybe they are omitting the "...with you" Part but at this point no matter what you say, it's not going to change their mind. She mentions in her post that she was "very young" And this was "her first BDSM relationship" And didn't know anything about it prior. So I am pretty sure this whole thing was his idea from the start and he knew he can take advantage of her lack of experience and young age. A lot of people on there saying "this isn't real BDSM". But it is. This is the reality of BDSM - toxic, abusive, sadistic men taking advantage of inexperienced, insecure women who are brainwashed into thinking this is normal.…

If you are into powerful historical women, read up on Wu Zetian. Rose up from concubine to first empress of China. Survived two emperors and their jealous wives, being banished to a monastery, coups, murder attempts, political intrigue, etc.. Hmm well, you can bring up the subject of "gallantry" Or "gentlemen" During the date, say you are a bit "old fashioned", etc.. To kind of hint that you wouldn't mind him paying. Or when the check arrives just don't make any moves towards your wallet and look at him while smiling, or if it went well smile and say " Thank you for INVITING ME here, it's really nice! I am 25 and when I go on dates with guys around my age, who are interested, they pay. However if it's with guys who aren't into me or are looking for a quick lay, we split the bill (that's why I don't do OLD anymore) . However, it depends... Some guys are inexperienced and don't know how to approach it. Or they think you will get offended if they pay. Just because someone doesn't offer to pay doesn't automatically mean he is cheap or not into you. But at the end of the day, if that's a deal brea…

I don't really understand why older man use a fake age. It's not like we can't see they are old. At best, we would think they look terrible for their age and would look even worse ten years from now. Yes, absolutely. I believe that just because it didn't work out with someone, it doesn't mean either of you is a bad person or did something wrong. A lot of people have this black and white thinking where "either I get everything and exactly what I want" (Ex. Sex or a relationship or marriage) or I get nothing at all and it's all ruined. So they tend to push and push for what they want until something, eventually, breaks. And you end up in very dramatic and ugly situations (breakups, ghosting, c…

For being the "less emotional" sex, a lot of guys seem to be "going through a lot right now". It's great that you have grown from this experience and didn't push to go any further when you realized it was not for you. " Dating" Has become very standardized today, in the sense that it seems thereare only two outcomes (relationship) or (sex and ghosting). I also think that many of us have lost the ability to be human and just focus on the connection and feelings we inspire in each other and I real…

You don't need to "deal" With anything. You just live your life. This guy didn't really "ghost" You, he has another priority right now - either stuck with a live in girlfriend, found someone new and exciting who send him nudes, is crazy busy with work, someone he knows is sick, etc., etc.. I am so tired if hearing about this "top 20%" Of men getting all the women thing and men using it to complain about how tough dating is for them... It's not true - this figure came from a "study" Made on dating apps, which found that most women "liked" The top 20% of male profiles, while men liked 50% to 60% of female profiles (don't remember the exact number , it could have even be 70% to 80%). The whole problem with the bdsm/kink "scene" Is that it's based on the assumption that if "two consenting adults" Are involved, there is nothing wrong with it. So that's basically saying that the only way something is "wrong", is if there is no consent - someone is either forced to do something or is unable to give consent. But you can't base your whole morality on " Consent" Because that means that the only things that are immoral to you are the things you can't get away with. Would you be okay…

Give yourself the apology you so desperately want from this man, for not respecting yourself, your boundaries and your needs and then block him forever. And girl, you say you're young, so take this as a lesson and NEVER do it again - driving around is not a date. I feel like it's such a double standard as well, cause if a guy is depressed, women are expected to be understanding and wait for him or even help him get over his depression. If a woman is depressed tho, and especially if it has an impact on her sex drive, she gets dumped. And that's seen as normal.

I used to be hung up on a guy I thought was "the one". Spent almost a year being obsessed with him even when we weren't talking any longer. Thought of him as " The one who got away" Since whatever we had never grew into something more serious. Then slowly I began thinking about him less and less and one day I thought back about him and realized he wasn't the one "who got away", but a bullet I dodged. So to summarize how women should date based on these comments : Approach the guy first and take the initiative Text first, text constantly, make your interest so obvious it can't go past their "dense" Heads Don't wait to have sex. In fact, have sex as soon as possible, maybe even before the first date. Basically offer yourself on a silver plate while he makes 0 effort, sounds good. I don't have a super long list, but that standards I do have are non negotiable: Taller than me and in good shape, takes care of himself Stable career Intelligent Reads (i know...) and has actual interests and hobbies Good sense of humour/confidence OR good in bed (both would be ideal) No extreme cultural/ religious/ lifestyle differences All of these standards were built from experience with past relationships, so I know that if a person doesn't meet them, it just won't work out between us.

It still surprises me how clueless and desperate for love some girls are. At the same time I've been in a similar situation and I know how much it can suck. Ultimately you can't control how people act, but you can always control how you react - controlling your emotions and not thinking you have a "connection" With someone after 3 hours of conversation is a good start.

As sad as it is, yes. I have noticed it in all my relationships - the guys I cared less about were the ones crazy about me. And those who I really REALLY liked... Well, let's say it was never reciprocated. In any case, in every relationship you have, never give more than you get. At best, take the most you can and give the minimum back. At worst, give as much as you've been given. Never go out of your way. Never do things for someone you know they are never gonna do for you. It might sound bad, …

He was waiting for you to put out and thought that making it "official" Will change your mind about waiting before marriage. When you didn't change your mind he bailed. Kudos for staying true to yourself. He will probably be contacting you again sooner or later but don't expect much of him. This is the maximum he can give you (and it's doesn't seem much).

I drink, watch old series I used to love, go out a lot and just do whatever I want (ex. Go to a restaurant I always wanted to go to by myself, order the most expensive dish, go to a festival I always wanted to go to with people I just met, visit friends in different countries, etc.). Also, writing. I am terrible at talking about my feelings, but I've always loved to write and it has always been very theurapetic for me. I realise most people think this is avoiding your sadness but "feeling" my sa…

I straight up ask I if they'd want to hang out sometimes. For example if I know we both like Japanese food, I ask if they want to have dinner at this new sushi place I want to try. Or if they are into the same music as me, I suggest a party we can go to together. 99% of the time they say yes. Maybe one or two times I didn't really click with the person, which is okay, you can't be friends with everyone!

Seriously, best advice my mom ever gave me, if a man wants to be with you he will MAKE IT HAPPEN. If he is making excuses, being unsure or giving mixed singles, he DOESN'T WANT YOU! That simple!

Ugh, my ex was so ugly everyone was wondering why I was with him. I admit the first time I saw him I cringed. He pursued me hard tho and I was dumb enough to give him a chance. During the course of our whole relationship he would continuously put me down by commenting on my weight, comparing me to other women, criticizing my clothing style. He would literally comment about how my friends or his friends girlfriend's were more attractive than me. I had an eating disorder as a teenager and at some …

If they think I am a 5 or a 6, I'd send them to get their eyes checked cause they obviously need glasses. On a serious note tho, I dont care how anyone rates me, all I care about is how I get treated. If you think I am a 5 or 6, but still treat me like a queen, I dont really care, I like myself and know my worth. And if you think I am a 10, but treat me like shit - then, obviously, I am not gonna stay. In the end these numbers mean nothing. Someone's 10 is a 5 and vice versa. Ideally, I would be…

Why? Because they can. Because society doesn't put the same pressure on them as it does on women. They are not bombarded by messages of how if they are not married by 30, they will be alone forever. They aren't taught since childhood that their mission in life is to "catch" a "good" woman. "Success" to men is portrayed as sleeping with a lot of different hot models, not settling down with "someone who loves you for you". They aren't raised to see relationships and girls as the centers of their l…

There is a huge difference between what men say they want in a partner and what they actually want. Most of the time even they don't know it until they meet the "right woman". Then all those lists and checkpoints become meaningless. But also, yes, some men end up "settling for less". Usually at an older age and/or if he is too lonely, broke, bored... imagine being the woman he "settles for" tho... yikes!

I was 20 he was 33. He lied about his age the first time we met, saying he was 27. Months later when I confronted him about it, he said "he was just joking the first time and forgot to tell me later". I was alone in a foreign city and incredibly vulnerable. At first he was a true gentleman, always taking me to nice places and driving me around. I was the first person to see his new appartment (So he claimed). I got attached quickly. Then suddenly he started acting differently. He would call me l…

Lmao I checked out some posts and someone rated a girl 5.83... not 5.50, not 6, but 5.83... How do you even calculate that?? Anyway had a good laugh!

I think most of these posts are fake or the guys writing them are self-deluded. Like a guy, who describes himself as average, was bragging how he "beds 10s and 9s" by taking them out for bowling or coffee and then invites them to his place? I find it really hard to believe that what he describes as "model types" would go sleep with some chump on the first date cause he spent 20$ on them. Also, I can't help but wonder who actually falls for this? Like no matter how "smooth talking", some guy is o…
