I'm sorry that has also happened to your daughter. Families are very good at gaslighting and projection. I'm sorry that your family went against you. I'm more closer to my current partner's family than my own. I fully agree with you with the getting away with this stuff. I also had a paedophilic grandfather which everyone covered for even when he got a 13 year old pregnant when he was in his 80s. I created my own family now, even though it doesn't really take the pain away. I know I'm surrounded…

That's good one as well. Just make sure you do small goals first and work up. Nothing worse in my experience going in the deep end and beating myself up when I do fail.

Definitely, it's a habit hard to break. That is brilliant idea writing the feeling behind it. Maybe you might benefit have breaks or days that there is no masturbating allowed. If you do it everyday, try do it every other day and slowly increase until you feel more comfortable with it. Meditation is good way when you are struggling, even if for a few minutes.

I used to have a super high sex drive that felt uncontrollable. The best things that have worked for me is that I tried to understand the emotions behind my sex drive, for my case to feel affection, a moment to forget all the negative things in life, and to feel needed. Once I addressed these emotions through self therapy and learning self care. My sex drive has lower and masturbate when it benefits me both mentally and physically. Try not seeing your sex drive as the enemy, its apart of you, an…

I'm sorry you had similar experiences. Yeah, things are getting better. In a good loving relationship. Have two daughters. Studying linguistics. I been diagnosed with C-PTSD last year. Which the doctors thought it was depression for over 13 years. So still trying to find peace even though the flashbacks can affect me and struggle a lot with intimacy without zoning out completely. But how are you coping with your experiences and life? ❤️

That is perfectly fine, the more the merrier. Let's just hope something gets sorted for her.

I'm sorry that you went through that too. Honestly it's a scary thing to press charges when they do find them. Must of been hard during that time. I'm quite afraid of that happening one day for mine. I'm glad they got charges in the end. Thank you and sending my love too.

It's just horrible the way they treated her. I just hope she does get justice. It really does put off victims coming forward. I was also this type of gang in Northern England when I was 15. I did report to the police twice and nothing was done about it and dismissed everything even though I had evidence. Everyone saw me as a troubled teenager. Even my parents didn't care when I said what was going on. They told me off for going to the police. They just laughed and carried on as normal when I did…

That is so disgusting. Can't believe she says he's a great husband and loves him after sexualizing her abuse. I could never imagine someone that is ment to love you just gets off on the most traumatic memories. I just hope she gets the divorce and never looks back.

That's terrible :( I'm sorry he did that to you. He well overstepped his position. Some adults just love abusing their power and boost up their fragile ego. Especially when they can just turn it back on you. It's strange that we have always taught to listen and respect our elders but when stuff like this happened we are told we should of know better.

Wish someone told me this when I was 15 instead of encouraging it.

NVM just want their cake and eat it. Had a few ex's like that.

You are definitely not a priority in his life and is emotionally unavailable. Him not being a proper father to his son is a big red flag in my books. And had an affair for that long. He's just gold plated trash, that he does a few good deeds but still a shitty man. I say dump him and move on, it's too much hassle especially at 23.

It's just all so disgraceful. Why is she even thinking about just keeping silent? The daughter is the first priority. And yet the husband doesn't really care about what has happened to the daughter because of 'tradition'.

What century is she from? 🤦‍♀️ A parent is a two parent job and even then it's hard. He's just a blood sucking leech. Wants all the benefits of being a man without putting any effort in. Might as well have a pet instead

So he expects her just to look after the baby all the time, plus everything else whilst he works just a few hours a week and games all day. Then gets moody when she's exhausted doing all that plus waking up during the night. And only plays with the baby for an hour?! Should be doing the night baby shift as minimum. Just throw the whole man away.

Been telling my friends about being like this with their 'situationships'. But sadly they refuse to listen, but guess who they call when shit hits the fan. 🤦‍♀️ Think I need new friends.

The good side of it, that you know which man takes you seriously and get rid of most fuckboys. Luckily it doesn't effect me too much in my life. My partner is more prone to it getting outbreaks every few months. Oh my mistake, antivirals. I had to take aciclovir in both pregnancies to reduce the risk of transfer.

That's ridiculous. I sadly caught it by some idiot over a decade ago. I disclosed it before I first slept with my current partner when we were discussing protection and testing. He disclosed at the same time he had it too. Her LVM is a selfish fool. Herpes can get transferred to an unborn baby in the last trimester unless you take antibiotics even if it's not active. Which can cause serious problems for the baby. Edit: Antivirals instead of antibiotics.

Yet LVM/NVM expect women to change, put her career on hold and push out a few kids for him in the name of love and commitment.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
