2	I tend to be very confident and talkative around girls when I'm with friends, but not when I'm alone. How can I change this? I have the same issue and what I discovered are two things. The first is that since you are male, you have a competitive edge. So you feel like you have to talk to others when you are with your friends, to show them up.
