Oddly enough, even though I'm no longer religious, my hyper-christian father and brother are the most willing of any men I've met to cut bad friends off. Neither of them have friends that would even dream of pulling stunts like this. I think it also goes to show that there are different types of HVM, I couldn't be with someone who would expect me to go to church every week. But for my christian mother, it's been great.

Oh thank god! In that case I'd say keep an eye out. Just to reassure you that you're not overdramatic- if my fiance went to the strip club for his bachelor it would the end. That said, it's the most normalized thing in the world so there's a chance your fiance has never bothered to think about how hurtful it could be. It sucks to have to do but I'd say to and find some equivalent examples of things he might find painful, and also mention how it's hard to trust at this point that he won't lie, se…

... Is this the same bf who watched porn every day? If so, you clung to a LVM and this is the natural consequence of that. If not, you probably haven't been with this new guy long enough for all the red flags to come out. At least you've got a year.

When push comes to shove, they always fall in line. They will absolutely vote to confirm, just like they did with kavanaugh.

It was 6 years ago sis, also, don't waste your time. Anyone inhabiting manosphere subs cannot be reasoned with and if there's no chance of changing someones mind there's no point engaging. Honestly, they'd probably get their rocks off to your anger

Exactly. Me having good male family members is what made me have high standards for a partner. Me having a good partner is why I encourage women to hold men to a high standard - because good men are out there and it's better to be alone than to settle.

The Ben Franklin effect! "He that has once done you a kindness will be more ready to do you another, than he whom you yourself have obliged"

Ok I get that liberal feminism has done many women dirty but it's not to blame for men's poor behavior. That's shifting the blame from where it belongs. Men were beating, raping, and enslaving women long before feminism was ever a thought. ts bro culture that's responsible for a lot of bad behaviour, not being willing to lose friendships to calling each other out as well as getting social standing amongst your boys for degrading women. Harassing/talking bad about women is literally how many men …

I mean, he might. But getting picked by a lvm isn't a prize worth winning.

Yeah, but that doesn't really need to be said, especially when women are airing out their very valid grievances. A lot of statements are ok in of them selves to say, it's the context that makes them annoying. Saying "it's ok to be white/all lives matter" like yes, it is ok to be white. But it doesn't really need to be said, especially in response to BIPOC talking about their problems.

And before any scrote gets to thinking: "well most inventors were men". A) no. Men just routinely took credit for women's work B) Women were barred from science/academia and now that we aren't women are making just as many strides as men.

I feel like if it's genuine then there's no pressure to respond. Just look at phone, smile, and go about your day a bit happier. It's not something to replace real convos, it's a nice addition on top of it

Tbf tonkatsu is just like adult tendies and I could eat that shit every day. But it also takes me more work to make than just buying frozen and popping into the oven

I think it's a husband using his wife's account. She has a post mentioning "her husband" so I dont it's a gay couple.

I don't understand why women shave their legs for a first date. I barely shave for my SO, who's loved me and supported me for years. It seems like a lot of women "get lazy" and stop shaving the longer they're in a relationship. That seems backwards to me. If there's anyone I'll treat to shaved legs it'll be a man who's proved he's worth it, not some strange fuckboy. Unless you like shaving that is, then keep doing you.

Nono! I meant that I didn't associate the term "peeing dirty" with testing positive for weed. I was trying to figure it out aha

I live where weed is legal, and even when it wasn't, drug tests for weed weren't that big of a thing. I was so confused with your comment for a moment, I was like "is he not hydrating enough?"

You shouldn't have to draw a line with HVM. They shouldn't be doing that kind of thing on their own, and in worse case if they're just ignorant you should be able to explain why that sort of thing is problematic and they should get it and agree/come to that conclusion on their own.

The mother of his children absolutely does not speak highly of him. Her opinion is the one that matters the most, I don't care what some supermodel thinks of her glorified sugar daddy. I have friends who work at Tesla, hes volotile and a pain to work for. It gets excused because many engineers have glorified him and that 24/7 working lifestyle.
