‘What Is the Point of Men in the 21st Century?’Feminism is a waste in the west now | /r/MensRights | 25/05/23 09:13 PM
Ex-feminists of this sub, what made you turn away from feminism? The usual list of suspects. But also knowing that I was the parent of young men. That really upset me to know that there was a huge group out there that didn't want them to succeed or be respected in any way and wanted them to be harmed. That really is what pushed me away from feminism. I couldn't be a part of a movement that thought my children were less than simply because of their gender or sex. That really boiled my bones. | /r/MensRights | 14/05/23 08:21 PM
Her “independent” girl friendYou have my respect for this. Definitely don't tolerate this behavior. I'm glad you're leaving and getting free from that toxicity. | /r/MensRights | 07/05/23 07:29 PM
Federal judge in Virginia fights for full custody of his daughters after ex-wife arrested at a hotel planning to sexually assault eight-year-old girlReading this article made my stomach turn inside out and then explode. | /r/MensRights | 22/04/23 05:10 AM
If you are ever accused of a crime, like domestic violence, do NOT EVER say anything. Immediately request a lawyer. I was falsely accused of it, and I won in court. Had I talked to the police (despite never hitting anyone, ever), I would have been charged and convicted of something I didn’t do.This happened to my BIL. He was accused of having hit his, then wife, and he ended up going with the cops to "clear things up". He ended up in a prison cell and if his father hadn't had the money to hire a lawyer and get his name cleared, he'd probably have gone to jail for a long time. All because his then wife lied and concocted a story. It was such a low and disgusting thing to do to him. So unfair. | /r/MensRights | 27/03/23 05:19 AM
Father loses child to mentally unstable mother with criminal record. She killed her son 10 days after she got custodyThis absolutely breaks my heart. It kills me inside. Horrible. | /r/MensRights | 20/03/23 04:27 AM
Where exactly should a man meet a woman?I found that online dating worked super well. | /r/MensRights | 08/03/23 12:22 AM
How do you feel about when every time males suicide rate is brought up, feminist counter it by saying female "attempt" suicide rate is higher? My mom used to do this to my dad. She would threaten suicide and threaten to hurt herself just so he wouldn't file for divorce. Narcissists are extremely dangerous for the lengths they go to so they can get their way. Scary. | /r/MensRights | 04/03/23 11:51 PM
The reason men don't get therapy or talk to people isn't because they want to be "manly", it's because most people don't give a shit about them (and therapists have a bias favoring women).I wish that there were more male therapists so more men could feel a connection to a therapist they felt safe with. Therapy has saved my life because it's taught me coping mechanisms and taught me how to look at my own actions and my feelings and examine them. I think that anyone can benefit from that but it truly does depend on the connection between the counselor and the patient. I think having more male therapists and psychiatrists out there would really help with a lot of that side of the is… | /r/MensRights | 01/03/23 11:40 PM
Marilyn Manson Accuser Recants Rape Allegations, Says Evan Rachel Wood ‘Pressured’ HerI totally get what you mean. Unfortunately, I've come to know a lot of people who use their mental illness as a crutch. Society allows a lot of people to think that mental illness means the mentally ill don't have any control over themselves. But the truth is most people who suffer from mental illness can engage in behavioral therapy and CAN adapt their behavior and their thought processes. It's HARD, but it is doable for many varieties of mental illness. Usually its the more extreme mental illn… | /r/MensRights | 01/03/23 01:23 AM
Marilyn Manson Accuser Recants Rape Allegations, Says Evan Rachel Wood ‘Pressured’ HerI consider most modern westernized feminism a mental illness tbh | /r/MensRights | 01/03/23 01:09 AM
I get it, being lesbian is cool and all but… the body shaming??? like is it necessaryLMAO if I wanted to look at boobs I'd just look in the mirror. Men are more interesting cause it's DIFFERENT. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/23 01:07 AM
Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?One of my big criticisms about women in western culture and especially about what feminism tries to push, is that a lot of women grossly over estimate how important they are in their family structure and their lifestyle within said structure. I hope your wife doesn't pick a fight over this but I would be wary if the topic comes up again. | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 06:41 PM
Being the Main CharacterI think that this also is caught up in a lot of behavioral patterns. No, it's not okay for one partner to boss the other around. Period. It's not okay. It's hard to break those societal chains though. I do commend you for starting that journey. My spouse and I do not boss each other around. It's very much a give and a take and it's important to remember that you're both people and you both matter to each other, if not to anyone else. Society is garbage though with the way they treat men in marri… | /r/MensRights | 27/02/23 07:52 PM
If you ask me, feminists aren't liberating women from gender roles. They're just creating new ones for them to be subjected to.When I was in undergrad I felt a tremendous amount of pressure to go into STEM, even though I wasn't good at it and I didn't like it. I ended up majoring in history and I excelled at it. Went to grad school for it and everything. One of my biggest gripes with feminism was that it was never about FREEDOM, it was always about feminists wanting me to value what THEY valued. They didnt, and they don't, care about what I value. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/23 05:36 PM
A row of boys lying on newsprint-covered tables howl in pain and grit their teeth as part of "circumcision season" in the Philippines beginsThe world decries female genital mutilation but everyone is silent about this. This boils my bones. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 05:15 AM
Anti-Circumcision SelfiesIt was actually at a Catholic run and owned hospital in the US. I had to whip out the religion card to make them stop. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 02:46 AM
Anti-Circumcision SelfiesRemember Society's Rules: men are not people and therefore do not get to choose what happens to their bodies. That's why as a parent it is MY JOB to make sure that my son's know that society is wrong. | /r/MensRights | 17/02/23 02:44 AM
Anti-Circumcision SelfiesOur pediatrician supported our decision. We also had nurses and doctors constantly asking us. They were constantly coming back and asking if we were sure. I finally snapped at one of them. They stopped asking after that. When we came home we ended up telling a family member what happened. He was an attorney and he implored us to report it to the hospitals HR department and we did. All in all I don't understand why the staff did that. I don't get it. I also don't understand why you'd do that for … | /r/MensRights | 12/02/23 12:44 AM
Anti-Circumcision SelfiesWe planned on telling them how we had to fight the hospital. We want them and their future partners to know how you have to advocate and Why it's so critical to do so. | /r/MensRights | 11/02/23 04:23 PM
Anti-Circumcision SelfiesSo glad I didn't let the hospital circumcise my sons. Still cannot believe how much I had to fight the hospital on that though. | /r/MensRights | 11/02/23 05:57 AM
“Radical feminist” declares intercourse is rape and society grooms them to be straightIncredible. This makes such a critical point. I was just talking to a friend about how feminism in our society coddles women. Thanks for sharing this. | /r/MensRights | 10/02/23 08:27 PM
