My husband enjoys small collectables from the video games he plays. Things like the Pop Vinyls. I have picked out a few for him and he always enjoys them. It is silly and little but I feel it shows that I pay attention to his interests even when they do not directly involve me.

I agree to a point. Both of my children are under 5 years old. So their needs often come first because they can not take care of their needs on their own. I did not wear any make up for about three years because my husband mentioned he did not like make up. I have seen my husband cry a few times in our years of marriage. Twice with sad movies and a few times when life was just hard. I have never seen him as weak because of this. I am working on more things to spoil my husband. Currently I make him coffee every morning. He enjoys cold coffee with dark chocolate and mint since he can not have sugar. I also pick up something for him every time I go grocery shopping, a small snack or treat that is just for him. Other things I do is less spoiling and just making his life easier. Like taking the kids with me shopping instead of having him watch them. Or setting up the humidifier in the bedroom every night.

My husband does this on occasion and I do my best to step back so I don't offer "suggestions" while he is working. The one thing I do if he is getting frustrated and cursing is sympathise that it is frustrating him and tell him I appreciate what he is doing.
