Personally I wouldn’t but I know that it would most definitely be tempting.

You should never feel guilty for improving yourself. I am currently separated and it will most likely end with divorce. Since our separation I have taken to time to focus on myself and in just a few months I can already tell a huge difference in myself. I just try to look at it as if it weren’t for where I am in the separation I would have never made these changes because I did have a similar guilt in the beginning as well.

Thank you for those wonderful words of wisdom. And for me personally it couldn’t have come at a better time.

I’m in the process of going through a divorce right now now and I no no intention of not still being involved in the lives of my ex’s children. I love them and what I’m going through with their mom has nothing to do with my relationship or love for them. I understand that’s not possible in every situation but hopefully the two of them are mature enough to see what’s best for you and not just focus on them.

In my eyes that a hard pass my friend. To me there are too many potentials risks. Spend the time focusing on your new relationship.

It sounds like you just read my brain and told my story. Things suck for me real bad right now so words of advice I don’t have. But I can tell you that you aren’t alone. There are other guys out there just like us and there are also those on the other side of this.

I’ve always wanted to learn to play the banjo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
