This is obviously a dramatization to some extent, but to be honest, it still happens to me. Just yesterday actually, I started up a school fighting game club, we were all sitting there playing smash bros with like 25 people, and this one girl came up and was making fun of us. I told her to eat shit and she got all butthurt and kept making snide ass remarks. Another girl was giggling at how cute "us guys were", because we were invested in the game.
