2	What actually would happen if my ex got a permanent restraining order against me? I say go ahead and file against her if you kept all her incriminating messages and voicemails. Video depends on your state but you can screen shot it to present it to a judge. she had no empathy towards you. She might mutually agree to dismiss it when she starts to feel the heat.
