hey - I loved Kill All Marriage Counselors, and I'm wondering if you can still benefit from The Surrendered Single if you're in an LTR, or if you should go for The Surrendered Wife only? Question for anyone who has already read the books :)

Side note about dogs: if your dogs don't smell neither will your furniture. If your dogs smell like crap your home will smell like crap. Bathe dogs 1-2x per month and wipe their bodies down with baby wipes daily!! I can put my face into our rough collie's mane because he just smells like shampoo and baby powder :) I appreciate this tip, it is what has had me hesitant to have a pet :)

Women do not crave respect the same way men do. We crave admiration. When men treat women with the respect than men actually crave, women hate it. Oh what are the differences?

If she keeps personal things private in general it doesn't stick out as suspicious. There are few upsides to admitting she's a virgin. Seriousness about monogamy can be shown in other ways.

I don't think it's as easy as rowing vs your boyfriend. If it were you seem to choose your boyfriend. It seems you have to choose between your boyfriend and being a good person.

I don't know what can pass as old family recipes exactly, but I stole this one from a room mate's family recipes, and people love them 190 g (0.85 cup) room tempered butter 150 g (3/4 cup) granulated sugar 150 g (0.83 cup) brown sugar Crumble together 2 eggs 180 g (2 cups) oats 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 1 tablespoon warm water 100-200 g baking chocolate Tear up the chocolate and cram all together. Preheat oven to 190° C / 370° F, and cook for ~8 minutes. The bu…

I would never move for a man before engagement. Especially if I felt like leaping with no secure landing has me terrified

a quality guy isn't going to stick around for 10+ dates and a committed relationship to figure that out. Who wants to be with someone would wouldn't even wait this long? Making a commitment based on sex doesn't exactly scream quality man to me. There is no way in hell I would ever commit to anything with a girl before sex, for all i know she could be a starfish. If you need to have sex with someone before noticing if there's any chemistry, there probably isn't. You can feel it in their vicinity.…

Take the indirect route and be a trustworthy person. It will show. Don't judge others. Disclosing about private topics yourself should not make a difference, I think.

I know you don't mean it that way, but for most men you asking to see a sex therapist or suggesting he reads a pdf like that would sting really hard.

Maybe the unhygienic part comes from people's tendency to behave in a certain way about all things, so untidy trimming is associated with sloppiness elsewhere?

I have always wondered about this. Is it because of wearing makeup during sleep, or because you increase the amount of time you wear it at all? IOW, is it bad for the skin in daytime as well, do you know?

If he were frequenting the subreddit he might realize I suck and dump me. You have already learnt from your past, and know the steps to changing. Now it is time to forgive yourself for it, let go of it as a part of your identity, cease feeling guilty. It will be much easier to actually change if you forgive yourself.

You say the relationship was off to an incredible start, but you are only mentioning things you did for him. I don't think you losing your cool that one time was the culprit, I don't think you ever had him to be honest, he just "rented" you. He is thirsting around on social media...is not that enough for you to see how beta he is to people who put up a little resistance? Why are you still sleeping with him if you want to get over him?

I trust him - if he wanted to do something with her, he could have at any time here. Are you more scared of physical than emotional infidelity?

I had a serious talk with him and said I was losing respect for him I actually think this was not very respectful :(

That he is fixated on her is evident from what she mentions in her post and comments. OP, staying with a man who cherises someone else above you will do serious damage to your sense of self-worth.

I really admire when the man wants to pay; it's just so uniquely manly :3 and I agree with others saying that if there is not gonna be a second date, I feel like I want to pay for myself. Though it turns out most men really insist and expect to pay anyway, which I must say earns my extended respect.

You are not required to be open about everything, especially when only dating. He can figure you out little by little.

I also used to think I was too sensitive, and was ashamed for being embarrassed by modern vulgarities. Now I just see it as my natural sense of modesty speaking up. I would have been discomforted by the comment as well...comparing your breast sensitivity to other women's... I am more comfortable taking an indirect route, which I'll take a guess that you are also more comfortable with. If you don't feel feminine when bantering, just stop bantering back and instead let yourself be teased by him. F…

This is lovely to hear. I'm so happy for you! I have trouble waking up early at times, but now it has become my favourite time of the day. I love waking up at 5, dressing and dolling up, cleaning and tidying up the place for the day, listening to music and reading before studies. It's like you get a head start on the rest of the world :)

Watch from 8:52. She's talking about genuine formal equality. I think she is a great inspiration. Men, I would like to take this opportunity to extend your formal invitation. Gender equality is your issue too. Because to date, I've seen my father's role as a parent being valued les by society despite my needing his presence, as a child, as much as my mother's. I've seen young men suffering from mental illness, unable to ask for help, for fear it would make them less of a men—or less of a man. In…

Every, single, girl seemed to have a soul-less life. Trying to talk to them was like getting blood out of a brick and would constantly reply with very short messages despite me either asking them about things they had stated they were into or asking open-ended questions. Sorry but it sounds like they just wanted to end the conversation.

There are several components of maturity. Responsibility and trustworthiness are favoured in women too, but feminine energy is more associated with joy and innocence. what about women who are simply not physically endowed - they may never be able to compete in the looks department? are they just screwed? even if they "marry early and be a good wife/mother", the best answer is to hope he doesn't cheat? how is that appealing? You can never guarantee someone will not cheat, but assuming you chose a…
