Is a “meeting phase” code for looking to hook up?He literally said it: "I just got out of a long term thing and am not ready....." This is a hard no for me for so many reasons. He wants to sow his oats. He's newly single. And he's looking for a rebound. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/12/19 12:13 PM
| -1 | Men will search for women who are full of joy and confidence so they can leech off of it and then after they’ve left her empty and burned out and drained of all the life that once existed behind her eyes they’ll say she isn’t the woman they fell in love withI haven't deleted any of my comments. I never said anything about blaming the victim. I am coming from a stance of empowerment. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 05:22 PM |

I was abused as a child, I was sexually assaulted as a teenager, and I was in an abusive relationship as an adult. It was difficult, but I did what I had to do to get out of the abusive adult relationship. I have to take accountability for myself and take care of myself. Yes it was wrong, but I have to own my personal responsibility for letting abuse happen within an adult relationship. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 02:14 PM |
How do you answer "what are you looking for" when you want to say something serious and eventually marriage?Ask them first. Don't wait for them to ask you. If they do ask you first, just return the question or change the topic and bring back the question at a later time. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 07:04 AM
Can't tell if im over exaggeratingI would distrust him too. He spent three months with you and decided that he only wanted a casual relationship. Then out of nowhere, for no reason, he changes his mind. This is a red flag for me. I'd give it a go, but with extreme caution, as I'd be concerned that he is saying what he thinks I want to hear to get in bed with me. You are feeling uncomfortable because your gut is warning you. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 06:49 AM
I’m really tired of intros on OLD like “how are you?”, “what are you up to today?”..So true.... hey, how are you? good! how are you? good. A few days later..... hey, how are you? I'm good, how are you? Good. And it goes on and on. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 01:33 AM
I’m really tired of intros on OLD like “how are you?”, “what are you up to today?”..See, I would definitely prefer these questions over generic stuff like 'how was your day?' or 'what are you up to this weekend?' or 'what kind of music do you like?' I hate small talk, but I do enjoy fun and silly banter. A question like 'what did you have for breakfast?' gives me a little opportunity to be expressive and also have a little fun with the conversation. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 01:31 AM
I’m really tired of intros on OLD like “how are you?”, “what are you up to today?”..The worst is when they ask questions that have the answers in my profile-- One person asked me where I am from. 'Refer to profile' Or if they ask me what my hobbies are-- I say, why don't you refer to the list in my profile where I thoughtfully presented an extensive list of my hobbies. I always read the profile of the person who I am speaking with so I can try to find some talking points and commonalities. I just abhor small talk and this makes it worse. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/12/19 01:27 AM
The zero effort date - invite her to tag along while you do your errands.Oh please. He's a successful person. Are you telling me every single time he ever meets up with his friends, family, and clients that he doesn't plan ahead for that? He just didn't want to put in the effort. He wasn't interested in dating, although he had told me otherwise, he was interested in getting his needs met at his convenience. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 15/12/19 02:04 PM
The zero effort date - invite her to tag along while you do your errands.I have had the same conversation as you countless times. I realize my responses seem harsh, but I just don't care. I am firm in my boundaries and I think his behavior is off-putting. I'm not trying to soften anything. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 14/12/19 10:50 PM
The zero effort date - invite her to tag along while you do your errands.I also hate that. The first time I may let it slide, but if it happens again I call them out on it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 14/12/19 10:42 PM
The zero effort date - invite her to tag along while you do your errands. This happened to me too. He kept texting me the day of asking if I was free "later." I answered very positively that I had plans later but would be happy to choose a future day convenient for the both of us. Silence after all three attempts. The third time I got annoyed. I responded in the same positive fashion and gave him a chance to plan something. Later that day when he texted me and his texts made no mention of planning a date I told him that I don't do last minute plans and the fact that h… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 14/12/19 10:32 PM
