where I live, dentists take home whatever is left over from charging the customer. They have to pay their staff and upkeep of their building. A basic cleaning which takes 30-40 minutes done by a hygienist costs 120 bucks. Then the dentist will come and look at their job for 5 mins. The only thing the dentist ever does is "surgery". Yeah, I have a lot of teachers in my family teaching elementary junior and senior high and they have never experienced threats or had weapons pulled on them. I know my one aunt took a 1911 drilled out pistol from a kid, but that is when she taught up north on a native reserve. I would guess that you live in the states to have problems like that

|5. How is a STEM job high risk? As an engineer who sits at a desk, I would consider my work pretty low risk. Well, I found in working on my physics degree and taking a few chemistry classes as electives. Even undergrad is dangerous. Throughout physics I was exposed to high voltage high current experiments, lasers, highly radioactive materials and highly corrosive chemicals. I don't see how reproducing work that you've just learned is considered a good way of testing how well you've learned the material. If they think that girls are going to do bad when they bring back the "traditional" way of testing, I don't see how they would survive in university considering that a majority of classes have a midterm and then a cumulative final exam with either little to know assignments
