1	I quit my job teaching yesterday. Without leadership or integrity, mediocrity rises to the top. Wow, this thread managed to give me some new epiphanies. Had a bunch of thoughts regarding OP's post and these replies. I'll try to be more coherent after listing the sporadic ideas that came to mind: Perhaps the decline happens, because lack of necessity means a lack of pressures that force the creation/cultivation of leaders, and thus, a lack of useful masculine energy.
