You should listen when we say things like “no”

As girls we often say things that might help us say no later. It’s a defense mechanism. A lot of guys expect sex if you say yes to a date.

This isn’t the first time you post this. It’s weird.

The old fashioned way I guess, class, through a friend etc. That just makes me feel a lot safer knowing my friends vouch for them or I’ve seen them interact etc. Obviously the world isn’t perfect and I’m open to meet someone on tinder or whatever though 🙂 how about you?

Again even if I would I’d probably just say hello. You wouldn’t believe what little I’ve said/done that’s been interpreted as interest by guys. I don’t think girls, in general, react the same to pretty bold hints by guys. Almost every girl I know has felt threatened at some point with a guy. Not saying I’m scared of guys in general, just that there’s a real reason to be careful.

Yeah as I’ve said before I might definitely come on strong if I already knew a guy was cool and I felt a connection. But initially I’m a bit cautious.

Hey you’re so welcome! My friend that doesn’t do well with girls, but should when personality and looks are concerned. He told me he was trying this Seddit thing, I’m super curious about it!

That’s cool! I love when guys take the time to read the bio and seem interested in something else than a bikini pic 😂

I responded about the same thing to someone else. I’m told I’m a tease and very flirty but I don’t notice it tbh, often I’m just being me and people think I was flirting with someone I had no interest in. I honestly don’t notice it, just like being sweet to everyone. But coming on strong with someone I know a little and coming on strong with someone I don’t know at all are two different things. So I might come on strong to a guy that I know but I wouldn’t do it on Tinder. That make sense?

Well here’s where guys differ from girls. If you come on strong you risk losing the girl. If we come on strong we risk on getting a major clingy guy if we end up not liking them for some reason. Guys are usually afraid the girl won’t respond, girls are afraid we get raped or murdered. If I met someone in class and get to know him I wouldn’t mind coming on strong knowing he’s a good guy. But on tinder or whatever it’s really scary to come on strong.

Lol no. I run track and a cute one I got was: Roses are red Violets are blue Would you let me Run with you? I liked that one but I’m a dork 🙈

I know it’s not cool but I didn’t message anyone first. I know from friends and stuff that girls get more attention and generally don’t message first. But because of that, for a girl, after we match it feels like I’m coming on strong if I message first. It doesn’t in the same way for guys I don’t think. I will say that the “oh he’s a creep” narrative is overblown. At least me and my friends are flattered as long as the guy isn’t overbearing or rude. Nervous is cute and an approach can be cute bu…

Am a girl and tried tinder (didn’t like it, feels creepy and like I can’t really get a good feel for anyone tbh). But I got a lot of likes, I also matched most because I have a hard time being mean (I know it’s stupid). But then like less than half probably messaged me. So while a lot swipe right not that many will message you. Even then a lot of guys have nothing written in their profile which is a huge no no for me. If you can’t even take a second to write a profile, why should I take a second…
