I have never had the desire to go through my man's phone, actually. I find phones that aren't mine uninteresting, hahahahaha.

Out of curiosity, do you actually like your diet food? It sounds like your man just wants you to enjoy yourself, but you're giving off the vibe that your miserable because you can't stand the food you're eating. PS: don't be embarrassed about sharing a dessert on a date! It's cute :)

I think feminism is arbitrary at this point in time. Feminism is about having equal rights to men, and we have them now. I suppose it's possible to be red pill & a feminist, I just don't see the point.

Hm, I probably would have called the guy staring at you doing squats out. Not in an aggressive way, but maybe say something along the lines of "Am I doing this wrong?" If he said no, then just say, oh, well, I saw you watching & it made me feel self concious." The car guy, I would have just said just ignored.

Just enjoy it! Crushes are fun :) Just remember that it's just a crush, & not to let it get in the way of you dating someone else if you're actively looking for someone.

Honestly, just love & acceptance. I'm nothing special, hahahaha. Seriously tho, I do all the things women are supposed to do for their man, but I think anyone can do that if you pay a person enough (cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, etc). I just think that's the special part of me in a relationship.

It probably is his way of showing interest in your life, & I'm guessing it's the only way he knows how. As far as treating you as one of his male colleagues, I'm sure everyone has gotten a taste of what you've experienced when spending time with him in some context. I doubt he's going out of his way to treat you one of the guys, that it's more that it's just the way he is. As far as it becoming a problem later, did you not break up with him over this? Not that I blame you, I could never deal wit…

You aren't being too picky, the kind of men you date sound like one-uppers, and no one particularly enjoys spending time with that personality type. That being said, dating three guys in a row with that personality type suggests you're doing something to attract them. I'm not sure what it could be, so hopefully someone else here with some insight can address that? As far as the line between playful & insulting jokes, thats a personal boundary that only you can decide what's too far. If a joke bo…

Don't change yourself to fit in with his friends, the last thing you want to do is become one of the boys (personally, I think it's a relationship killer). You'll become more social with them as you get more comfortable.

I doubt you're doing anything wrong. There's a hook-up culture for those in their twenties, and a lot of times that means guys are going to hook-up or date people who are already in their friendship circle. A lot of them don't know how to or even want to approach new women because they've never had to. Guys in their 30's & 40's didn't grow up in a social setting like that, so they won't have a problem with it.

Not always being logical/rational doesn't make someone stupid. Speaking only for myself, if I get into an argument with my boyfriend or one of my parents and end up upset, the person in question would lay out their thought process in a clear & concise manner on why I shouldn't be, I'll understand their explanation perfectly, but a lot of times I'll be upset anyway. Does this make me irrational? Sure. But it doesn't make me stupid.

I see. I would be resentful, too. I don't think you would act like that with them, though, because you know how it feels. Maybe tell them that you want them to try soccer (or whatever sport) just for a season, because you would hate it if it ended up being something they loved but never got the chance to figure it out, & if it ended up not being something they wanted to continue, you'd never mention it again? My "practice" nephew didn't want to play football because he wasn't very good, but after a few weeks he became better & started to love it. Do you think that may be a possibility, that they don't want to because they're worried about their ability? Or are they shy around kids at school? If that's the case, maybe a league that's not associated with the school would be better. If they're just not interested, I'd probably push them, because you never know! If they still didn't like it after one sea…

I think enrolling them in MMA is great, it's supposed to be very good for fitness, self defense, & self discipline. But since they're going into their teenage years, maybe they would benefit from a team sport? Learning from mentors & their father is good, but I think a social aspect like learning from & teaching to boys their own age, then all them growing together would be a wonderful experience.

Are you friends with the women they were bad-mouthing? I've been in that situation before, all it took was a simple "hey, I understand that you don't care for X, but she's a really good friend of mine. Could you have this conversation when I'm not around?" If it's someone you don't know all that well, changing the subject is good, too. I like what littleteafox suggested. :)

Eek, okay, yeah, I totally get where you're coming from now. Maybe it's unfair, but I always associate NLP with con artists. :/ it sounds to me like your husband has his heart set on hiring a business consultant, though, so maybe you can do a little research, and come up with a few names that have a good reputation & suggest to your husband that he conduct a few interviews to find the best fit. I think he appreciates that he has someone to come home to that he can just relax into himself with. He's a very high energy person that loves going out in the city with his boys and on top of that he's a trainer in quality assurance for a major company, so whenever he's not at home he's always in a hyper-masculine environment & has to be "on" so-to-speak; I think he finds it comforting that with me, he doesn't have to be. Same here! Every time I see a recipe that tells me to everything in a bowl and beat it for five minutes all I think is how it's going to take me forty five minutes. I'm 25, and have been in an exclusive relationship for four years I do want to be married & it's very important to me. I want children & I do NOT want them out of wedlock. I won't compromise on that. We currently live together. You can say whatever you need to say without being condescending or insufferable. I'm sure you can see the difference between someone telling you that something you're wearing isn't flattering on you then offering to help you pick something else out and someone telling you that you look like shit because your tight dress shows all your fat rolls & needs to stop eating like a greedy pig. Think of it like a weather forecast.. Certain variables in the atmosphere will indicate rain (or snow or whatever), and the more variables associated with rain that are present, the more likely it is to rain. Likewise, having a few things on that list describe someone doesn't necessarily make them (or you) a slut, the more things that get checked off, the better a bet that the person in question is a slut. It sounds like your friend was annoying you and you snapped at her in a pretty unkind way. This girl is your friend. You should be kind to your friends, even if they get irritating/are being ridiculous. If she's not someone you want in your life anymore, leave her alone. If you value her friendship, apologize & never give her relationship advice unless she explicitly asks for it, and then do so in a more tactful way than you have. Congratulations on your wedding! :) In answer to your question, maybe it's because I've never met anyone who I would compare to your ex friends or if it's because I'm not an angry person in general, but I never went through an anger phase so I'm not sure if that's something that runs its course or is a more permanent thing. Something I would think about is comparing yourself to them. Only angry people would belittle their friend's marriage and demonize half the world's population. They're going …

Have you considered the possibility that he is trying to lead your household, but he's just not doing it your way? It seems to me that he has a path that he wants to go down and a picture of what he wants he wants the relationship to be like, but since you don't like it, you don't submit to him and dismiss him as a beta who can't/won't lead & that's not fair. I agree. Another thought that crossed my mind is that young women are so fat that they look ten to fifteen years older then they are (say, they're twenty, but look thirty) that when they actually see a thirty year old woman at a good weight, they end up thinking she's twenty just because of how the twenty year olds that he does know look. I'm a little skittish about work friendships, too, so I'm not sure I would organize something specifically for the three of you, maybe it would be better to invite them to something that's already happening, like if you're having a Christmas party or having people over to watch football or something? It's not unusual for someone to deviate from his or her typical behavior when dealing with the loss of a loved one. So he got really drunk. So he lost a couple hundred dollars. You say so yourself that he's only been behaving this way because of his grief. Do you not see how absurd it is to issue this kind of ultimatum in these circumstances? Alphas do commit. Unfortunately, they're just not committing to you. Being a like-able person/being fun to be around matters. Having compatible personalities matter. It's old advice, but honestly, I think the best thing to do is think before you speak. People in a relationship will occasionally disagree about something or clash over an issue. It's natural and there's nothing wrong with that. But it is possible to express your opinion in a kind way. Next time you feel yourself about to lash out in a bitchy, condescending way, imagine you were speaking to a stranger. Don't beat yourself too badly, there are lots of things that can affect the way baked goods come out even if you followed instructions perfectly. For example, not all ovens are calibrated properly (for example, the dial on your oven may be set for 350, but it could be 425 degrees). Some ovens have hot spots. Altitude and humidity where you live can affect things as well. Get to know your oven and the environment you live in and you'll be able to make adjustments accordingly. I read some of the o…

My very best friend has a brash personality and occasionally asks me to rephrase her texts so she won't come across too off-putting. Maybe your fiancé's cousin can use the same phrases to be more assertive, but in a kind way? A good way to say no to an invitation is "I'm going to decline, thank you for thinking of me." A woman should know how to make eggs, a baked potato, a pasta dish, and a stir-fry dish. As for tips, I started out using box meal starters, like chicken helper and things like that. I know it will feel you're not REALLY cooking, but it's a very helpful way to start getting yourself familiar with using cookware and how meats/sauces look during the cooking process, plus you have an end game on how things should look. I think number 3 is the most important, especially in our culture today.
