Thanks! Erm, basically house prices in London are far, far higher than anywhere else in the UK. So it's a lot harder to buy a house, especially if you're younger. So I'm less likely to find a guy on Tinder who owns his own home in London vs anywhere else in the UK, all other things being equal.

Yeah, Japan doesn't have many women out of the house and working - one of the things Abenomics hasn't changed yet. Um there's really not an equal gender job market in Japan. Never disagreed other countries aren't going to experience a declining birth rate as GDP per capita rises. Below replacement rate is another thing altogether.

It's a lot harder for women to earn a similar amount of money to men in Japan compared to in the West - their earning potential is a lot lower so they're more likely to want a partner who they can depend on financially. That's less the case in the US, where women are more able to pursue careers.
