Same! I have a compulsive problem with picking that I’m trying really hard to overcome. I’m always picking at my thumbs, my feet, my face, etc. So nail polish doesn’t last long for me. Keeping my nails shaped, clean, and long has helped me curb my picking habit though.

I am a doula and I love seeing involved fathers! There’s also a childbirth preparation class called The Bradley Method that teaches husbands to be the labor coach for their wife, which can be very connecting and empowering! Also, there’s a book called Spiritual Midwifery that shares a bunch of positive homebirth stories. Many of the husbands in that book were making out with their wives and loving on them all the way through labor and up until the actual birth. Love got the baby in and it helps …

We eat it with everything! Pork chops, steak, chicken, I even like to add a wee bit into soup for an interesting flavor. I didn’t add any seasonings except for the sea salt. I figured for my first homemade batch I’d want to develop a base expectation of the process and go from there. Do you have any recommendations as a seasoned sauerkrauter? :)

Yesterday was a whole roasted chicken with lemon. Then I made a bone broth with the chicken carcass and tonight is a soup with spinach, mini meatballs, and other veggies. Also, I’m fermenting sauerkraut for the first time and I’m so excited for it to be ready. I’ve been reading a cookbook called Nourishing Traditions, and its given me lots of ideas!

Brittany Pettibone, Lauren Southern, Ayla Stewart (Wife With A Purpose), Shoe0nHead (more comedy focused than the others), and that’s all I can think of off the top of my head. My friends are all very liberal and my family is a mess, so I find myself looking to YouTube videos and books often for advice on having a red pill, traditional life with my fiancé. He found r/NoFap on his own and is two weeks porn free today. The more I read about porn addiction the more I realize it is an epidemic ruining the happiness and success of young men. Educating myself on the subject has made me decide to stay with him and work through the problem. He is also an OIF veteran so we will be going to the VA for counseling. Aside from my father, this sub is the only place where I’ve been encouraged to work on things and try and stay. My advice would be to move out. Eat beans and rice on a mattress on the floor in a shitty apartment...and have LOADS of fun doing it! Struggle together out on your own and avoid the MIL toxicity at all costs.
