They have a couple of kitchen tips books that are freaking fantastic. Could not recommend them highly enough!

As everyone else here has said, you need to break up with your current boyfriend. A good test of quality I've found is to ask yourself, "would I be proud if my son turned out exactly like him?" If the answer is no, then you need to move on. You're feeling guilty because you are cheating, imagine it if the position was reversed. It could be much worse and I don't necessarily blame you, but you're going to have to own up to it to feel completely absolved.

I just saw that you have ADHD, as do I and therefore I get that it's that much more important to have a clean space. A messy external contributes to a messy internal. It's not that it's just untidy, it's taking up space in your brain which in my experience feels suffocating. Other than his family history, what do you think the root cause of the clutter bug habits? Is he from a scarcity 'I might need this one day' mind set, wanting to recycle/ not waste things, or does he just like collecting thi…

He doesn't sound super respectful of you or your child. However a trick I use to keep myself organized and tidy is to have friends over about once every other week.

I have a question if you don't mind. It always seems jump from two to three was a larger decision than going from three to four. Do you think that was accurate for your family? One of my good friends was one of four and her mom always said that she barely noticed the added work load when the baby came along. The chaos levels were about the same.

A rebound relationship or hooking up with someone? Probably not the smartest idea. Going out and flirting a bit? Absolutely go for it! Then spend some time focusing on you. And like everyone else said get him out of your life ASAP.

It can take several tries to find the right therapist, when I moved it took five to find someone that I jelled with.

When something doesn't feel quite right, take a picture of the room. For some reason seeing it on a screen highlights different things than you see in person and can help identify blind spots.

There is always the option of getting a roommate. It will help keep the costs of living in the city down and keep OP from moving into a place with guy until they are actually ready.

If you think you might ever want to go that route, start documenting your back pain with your doctor now. Call your insurance company to determine the exact requirements, having the knowledge will allow you to make an informed decision. I had a reduction surgery two years ago and paid for it out of pocket. (Ended up being about 5k in an area with average cost of living) However, because my body has to be weird, they were unable to take out the original planned amount of tissue. In the end I only…

Absolutely go check them out! Wearing the correct size bra alone can do wonders! It can make you look a few pounds lighter immediately; having the girls up and in their correct place removes some of the visual weight from your waist. Don't be freaked out or dismiss it if you end up with a cup size that is larger than what you think you should be. Most women aren't wearing the right size and Victoria Secret tends to push women into whatever sister size they carry in stock. Last time I went in and…

High necklines can be counterintuitive, it can make you appear more busty because there's a visually uninterrupted space. Medium height v shape necklines tend to work the best for my frame. (32H)

Like many others here have mentioned, it has to do more with an individuals general coloring than their hair color. I look terrible as a blonde; my dark eyebrows and freckles would look out of place with any shade of blonde. Also look at her photos, the blonde has significantly more dimension and highlights, whereas the brunette looks more flat. The only way to correctly do a study like this is to have incredibly similar photos/ poses at the same age.

Depending on what we're doing for the day - Silk robe if I just woke up and fixing coffee before getting ready for the day - Athleisure if I'm doing chores around the house, normally I wouldn't but he loves the way I look in leggings and slouchy tanks - Cotton sundresses if we're having a lazy day and don't need to move around - Cute boxer shorts and tank top if snuggling on the couch

I agree, I think there has been way too much of a focus on having both parents in the work place. There shouldn't be shame if you deviate from how the 'standard' family works. What gets me the most is when people say they can't afford to have only one parent working. If one parent stays home there is a reduction in income, but there's also a reduction in expenses. Having a SAHP removes child care costs, reduces transportation and wardrobe expenses, decreased food budget with less reliance on pre…

No, it is not deceptive at all. Long term depression, which is what it sounds like you are dealing with, is a medical condition. This is similar to many other medical conditions, some of which leave external marks. I have cystic acne that leaves scars, would it be deceptive if I used lasers to resurface my skin? While it was a dark period of your life it shouldn't define you. Fourteen year olds are in an emotional volatile situation even without the added complication of depression. It is import…

If he is in the Navy there are going to be plenty of times in the future where he will be gone. Even if he is stationed on land and not on a ship, he will have continued training and other instances where he won't be by you. IIRC When my best friend was contemplating Nexplanon and her doctor brought up the same concerns. The doctor had some patients who had bad reactions to Nexplanon, so she strongly recommends each patient try NuvaRing for six months. Apparently they are the same type of hormone in similar ratios, so the theory is if you are ok with the NuvaRing then the Nexplanon will be fine.

Kind of. If it was up to him I'd wear jeans, flannels and boots or sundresses and cowboy boots in the summer. Neither of which are incredibly practical for every day. I usually pick out a few things I like and have him make the final call.

We're long distance right now which super sucks. Him to me: He got me a jar of blackberry jam. There's an older woman who lives across the street from him who preserves/ cans a bunch of stuff. He was helping her move boxes of jars and offhandedly mentioned that blackberry was my favorite. She insisted on giving him a few jars. Me to him: He doesn't know this yet, but I'm in the middle of putting together a care package to send to him.

Try on a bunch of different brands to find what fits your body. It's going to take some time. The petite department is going to be your friend. Same with a good tailor. Cardigans and sweaters are always too big or too long. My mom swears by Ann Taylor petite cardigans, they fit her perfectly. (She's 5'3" 140 - 150) She prefers V Neck Shirts are always migrating out of the waistbands and making my upper half look like a balloon. Shirt Body suits are a good way to prevent this. Alternatively shirt…

That is so stinking sweet!!! I had something similar happen a few weeks ago, but from a different person. We went to visit his family for a few days. His father and I are both early birds and enjoyed our coffee together before everyone else was up. He said "Mr. littlepearlisland is the happiest and most balanced that I have ever seen since he met you. I am so thankful that you've come into our family's life." Made my heart melt.

While there are many reasons why I love him, the first one that popped into my head is the uncanny ability to make me laugh. He has said that hearing me laugh brings him such joy and makes him feel almost giddy. Doing something silly is a surefire way to reset my mood, so he does it especially when I'm anxious or upset. Knowing he is that in tune with my emotions melts my heart.

How old are you? How old is he? Is there a plan to end up in the same location? If so, is there a time frame? Do you have a plan in place to vet like nobody's business? (because it's easy to hide flaws from a distance) The fact that it has only been five months and there's already a strain on the relationship would concern me.

Not nuts at all! It will help to shift how you view it. Instead of a challenge, look at it as a learning experience. Life will always be hectic and busy, learning the skill of carving out time for each other will benefit your relationship in the long run. Have fun with it, treat it like a chance to begin 'dating' each other again. Plan silly cute dates and have him pick you up and drop you off at the end of the night. Fellow law student here (3L). Look into legal fields that are slightly more flexible/ less court room time. Governmental agencies, in house positions, and remote contract work could be two great options. I met my boyfriend early in 2L and we have both fallen head over heels. We both went into it knowing marriage and kids were the end goal. I disclosed I was not full time stay at home mom material, and that I'd like to work full time I until we have kids and then switch to part-time or remote. We…

Ohh! Go check out Trashy Diva in the quarter. If you like the vintage look they are super comfy and cute. It might seem silly but having a code word for having a crappy day might be a good way to let him know without having to go into all the details. My mother and I did this when I was in high school and needed to deal with teenage angst on my own. On those days she would just give me a hug and let me do my own thing, because she knew I could work it out but didn't need extra stress from her.

I'm new to RPW but I think it would be wise for you to map out what your 'dream' life would look like at 35 - 40 and work backwards. If you want to marry a college educated man then you should put yourself in a path to meet one. If this is what you want then I would recommend looking at a two year school in the same town as a major four year university. That way you are benefiting from lower tuition costs and can get an AA while still being around college men. Though I would look towards seniors…
