ask a feminist

I agree that education needs to be the focus rather than some of the atrocities organizations such as NOW are responsible for. It's really sad how something that was originally intended (from my understanding) to help society reach gender equality has become so demented that it now attacks and oppresses rather than helps.

I see what you're saying, but why should you even have the "hostile outsider" standpoint when men's rights are issues that hit so closely to both of our homes? I understand that some angry feminists might have taken the same route to answer my questions if the gender roles had been reversed, however being rude because someone might have been rude to you isn't really a justifiable response. The sole purpose of this post was to get people to think about all of the blaming BOTH movements are guilty…

wogs, cunts, privilege... no one will take your ideas seriously when you shut them down only to insult them.

I don't think I would call someone a rapist, pedophile, or abuser just because they were interested in a fairly new movement whose ideals haven't been very widely publicly defined. I get angry responses from feminists when questioning whether the guy in the gas station was trying to be genuine in complementing some girl or as most feminists see it he was being "a creeper", yet no one's response seems to attempt to name drop and punish me simply for questioning.

Just as I can clearly see that making assumptions is your fucking problem. To me, the opinion of someone as blind as you amounts to less than nothing.

I smell what you're stepping in. But, you usually aren't physically able to have children at the age of retirement. Then again, you might not be physically able to travel at that age either (depending on medical problems you might acquire from said work).

Can you delay travel time? Yes. Can you delay having a baby? No. Unfortunately, (and I'm making assumptions here) if you reside in the US, they seem to think that retirement is for what you're looking for. While I agree that personal happiness should come before a career, not everyone is going to agree with you on that from a business stand point.

We aren’t going to get anywhere when your movement, which has been established for half a century and has all the funding it wants, so obsessively seeks out and shuts down new topics of focus and discussion. It’s disgraceful Enlighten me, please.

What does maternity leave have to do with needing men? Shouldn't you be saying something along the lines of the child needing the parent?

mean if I can accrue vacation time and use that window to fulfill my life's choices, why cant others when they are deciding to have kids? Thats what youre saying isnt it? My life's choices arent as important so I can fill it into vacation time or I can fuck myself, but if someone chooses to have kids then suddenly everyone has to bend over backwards to accommodate that choice. So thats the question...why the disparity when both are choices that people freely choose? Not sure what you're trying t…

I believe companies offer vacation time for your travel needs.

Why does that bother you? Look at all of the pornographic material aimed towards men.

(I know she's ugly, but stay with me.) Do you realize that you have just objectified her all while attempting to make a point against objectification?

Yes! Thank you! This whole MRA vs. Feminist mentally must stop as it requires open minded RESPECTFUL people to accomplish progress. Attacking and undermining each other is grounds for oppression, what else could come of it?

Why is the focus on attacking feminists rather than shedding light on the bigger picture (how Rolling Stone objectifies both genders as a means to sell magazines)?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
