It didn't happen for me but for others it did. It should have happened to me but my parents knew better than the medical community and I did what was best for me. Jokes on them, I disowned my mother and have my hormones. My parents ended up not letting me transition which really screwed me up long term. I really don't think it should be a parents decision at all as they have no clue wtf is best for their kid.
