Also. One of my close friends is a civil engineer, also with a math degree. Claims weed helped him focus more. Interesting argument. Another with an air traffic control degree. Sure not safe to do at work or on the job. Either way. Stoned for all of college, including labs simulating on the job scenarios

Yea, I agree, it does make you lazy. Like I said, there is a time and a place for everything. To add to what someone else mentioned. It affects everyone differently. You choose when you do it though, and if it's something that helps you sleep, or helps you relax if you get anxious, use it when necessary.
