where the fuck are you from man there are plenty of homeless shelters that take men and women. but plenty of people can’t access them anyway. homeless women do not have all sanitary utilities they need. many shelters do not hand out sanitary products at all and if they do they don’t get nearly enough to support all the people who need them and i say that all women should be able to access to feee sanitary items.

i think it’s pretty heartless of you to say that. have you ever stopped to look at how expensive they are? and then consider that this is an expense we must cover once a month? think about how difficult it may be for someone who doesn’t earn much money to put aside that amount every month for tampons and pads. for some people it really is a choice between eating and staying clean. most sexual health clinics with give out condoms for free. why not tampons and pads as well?
