Yeah, any time I’ve visited FDS the top posts are 100% hating men and 0% dating strategy.

Lol, let me tell you about someone I dated -- dropped four months into dating that she no longer believes in premarital sex. She'd had sex with all her previous boyfriends but now believed in "doing things the right way" because "men leave after getting what they want." Funny thing was, I did see a future with her otherwise but that was kind of the last straw for me in terms of dealing with trust issues she had which were created by men who weren't me.

Why is virginity preferred? That means you’re marrying her without having sex with her either. What if she turns out to have a much higher or lower sex drive than you, or turns out to be bad in bed, or turns out to like different things in bed than you do?

If women replaced church with dick, that’s kind of church’s fault for setting the bar so low that dick was an upgrade, isn’t it? Why do you want women to wait until marriage? Are you waiting until marriage? Do you think it’s immoral to have sex with someone you aren’t married to?

Literally no “HVM,” to borrow their term, would put up with someone following FDS tactics. Following FDS is pretty much a guaranteed way to end up with a dude with so few options he ran out of self respect.

I can only speak from personal experience -- hitting 25 was a huge bump in my online dating success (both quality and quantity of matches) and when I was approaching 30 was when I saw the biggest bump in IRL interest from women. Enjoying early 30s life now and dating has actually never been this fun. The "hitting 25" online dating bump is something I've talked about with friends and they've all noticed it and it pretty much happens the day you turn 25 -- I think that's just where a lot of women'…

You know you don’t have to have a kid if you don’t want to, right?

Let’s say you have two kids, that’s what 18 months of contribution over several decades of marriage? Edited to add: Not to minimize the contribution made by women who have children -- just saying that the idea that this is the entirety of the contribution required and once you've had kids your job in a relationship is done is pretty weird. Most of your relationship will not be while one person is pregnant and you have to add value to each others' lives then too.

If you present the image that you're an accomplished man first, then you can throw in the nerd culture stuff and not have it affect your image too much. Ding ding ding. You've gotta establish yourself as a functioning adult before you talk about gaming. I have regular LAN parties with the dudes and during the "what do you like doing for fun?" part of a first date I typically talk about it (even tell them LAN party night is inviolable but I'm free to hang other nights of the week). But always aft…

Oh no no, please wear condoms. Just also get vaccinated.

HPV has entered the chat. (Actually tho. People who are sexually active should get vaccinated against HPV -- you can still get HPV with condoms and 80% of all sexually active adults get it at some point in their lives.)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
