1	I was physically and emotionally abused by my ex girlfriend and currently struggling with post traumatic stress. When I reach out for help people end up having doubts or are skeptical as to whether I was really abused or not. I know what I went through and all of it was very real. A lot of abusive/manipulative people make a good front. My mother was abusive towards me and my dad and yet not many people believed him because she was 'so nice' and assumed he was a liar even though I witnessed it too. This behaviour is disgusting and I'm sorry you had to go through that, it's so incredibly stupid that when men are abused it's somehow their fault and society struggles to understand that women can be abusive.
