Female perspective here and open for debate. If the military drafts men and women on an equal basis, some of the comments are suggesting that women are more likely to be put in non-combat roles. For every woman drafted for a non-combat arms job, that is one less non-combat arms role for a male draftee and one more man who has to be drafted for the combat-arms role. Do you think that scenario would be likely to happen?

Still funny though

Violence is violence. People shouldn't be assaulting others in the first place. It makes sense that if a woman assaults a man they should be punished the same as if it were reversed. Domestic violence isn't just about women who are the victims. Men can be victims, too. The main thing about women is that if they are pregnant, that's a completely different story. Hitting a pregnant women is like punching a baby which would definitely be child abuse, even if the women started the fight. Pregnant wo…

Agreed. Especially since college is so expensive the least they can do it make it politically unbiased.

This professor reminds me of a philosophy professor I had that was extremely politcally biased and not afraid to voice his opinions in class. So I stopped going to class, couldn't deal with his opinion in my face

I respect you for supporting a cause that is underrated that most people are not educated about. Thanks for giving me more info to make me more familiar with this topic, and I will be sure to remember you when circumcision is brought up.

You are much nicer to me when you DM'd me about this issue so I guess you are trying to impress people or something but I am pretty sure we came to a conclusion already that you feel strongly about this so I stepped back

Alright, so by that logic when women are pregnant, the father has no say in whether she will get an abortion or have a child. My body my choice means the female would ultimately make every single decision by herself when pregnant.

What about piercing ears for female babies?

You think I am a bad person just because I am having a conversation with you that you disagree with. It's ok, I understand. I am on this sub because I believe in men's rights and rights for everyone. I am not a feminist. I don't know what it is like to be a man. My husband will make that decision if it comes to it, not me. Don't blame me for a decision that I haven't even made yet. You can't judge someone and say I shouldn't have kids because of that.

Nope. I converted to Christianity. I'm not a feminist yet you still hate me. You are just a rude person who makes assumptions, I didn't join this thread to bash on men's rights I came here because I support the rights for everyone. It is a religious ceremony for some people and that's a fact. What about when parents pierce their daughters ears when they are a baby?

I see your point. Do you think it should be illegal?

Ok look I am not familiar with the severity of this issue and I apologize if I came off as insensitive but please understand that I have never had an orgasm in my life from sex, and a lot of women don't. Getting circumsized is an issue that people should be more aware of and I feel for you I'm sorry that you guys have to go through that if it has negative effects.

That's more a matter of bad doctors, the process itself is completely safe unless the doctor messes up or the parents don't follow instructions post circumcision

It's all about perspective and clearly this is a serious issue in your opinion I'm not trying to change that but not everyone is complaining about their dick all the time. If anything guys complain about their dick size more than being circumsized or not

No matter what I will be a great parent so I am really not worried about that, and that's a 0.00005% chance of death. It's great to advocate in what you believe but some people are gonna have different choices, I grew up Jewish and so it is a religious ceremony and tradition.

I'm a reasonable person, so you do you. It is a controversial issue since the US is different than Europe. In the end it's the parents choice, it is impossible for anyone to predict how their baby will react in the future.

That's interesting, I didn't know that. I'm not a feminist so honestly I'll probably go with whatever my future husband decides if I ever have a future son, the father should make that decision and I'll go with it since I haven't experienced being a man or know what it is like. I hate how feminists think they know what it's like to be a guy. The just assume their lives are easier and I don't know why, we both have different things about ourselves

As a girl, vaginas are much less sensitive than any dicks at all. Personally I don't find uncircumsized dicks attractive, I haven't met a girl friend that disagrees. If I could have a surgery that tightens my vagina after birth then I would totally hoped that my parents decided to do it. It's just a matter of a sacrifice to meet a societal standard. I can't orgasm from having sex, and that is a common problem that a lot of girls have.

True, I think it would suck more if a guy didn't get circumsized as a baby because if he wanted it later in life then he can't do it without it being very painful. Also it would make them less horny, and women are already much less hornier than men so it will at least make it more equal of a playing field. Personally I don't find guys with uncircumsized dicks attractive, but everyone has their own preferences so I don't judge guys for wanting tight vaginas. If I had the decision to make my vagin…

Ok true. Well I guess it's just another societal standard. Like women grow their hair out and even though it's more maintence and money spent, we do it because that's what makes us attractive. I think parents want to do circumcision so their son doesn't have a dick that stands out to girls. Also if uncircumsized dicks make guys more horny then I think that would be too much considering girls can never get to that level of horniness that guys have. It puts less pressure on having sex all the time…

By the way, 100 babies a year means it is a .00005% chance of happening

Wait so does sex feel better for men with uncircumsized dicks?
/r/MensRights01/05/20 02:13 AM

Well it's done before guys can remember it, being born is painful but you don't remember it either. If someone is uncircumsized it makes them stand out... Woman don't like uncircumsized dicks so isn't it a good thing you guys get circumsized? I've never seen a guy send a dick pic with an uncircumsized penis

Is forced circumcision something men are against? Isn't it ok because it's done before you can remember it, like being born is probably painful but we don't remember it. I'm a girl and uncircumsized dicks aren't common but it will make a guy stand out. It's not really a good thing to be uncircumsized right?

Cuz men need to be able to have the option to pee in a urinal

I think if there's a gender neutral bathroom, it should be in addition to a men's bathroom and a women's bathroom. So three total. Or else it is unfair, like in this situation they should add a men's restroom of course so they can use a urinal which is much more efficient then getting pee on the seat
/r/MensRights26/04/20 02:59 PM

This doesn't seem fair, but then again if they were both gender neutral I'm sure there would be pee all over both seats. Women's restrooms are almost always cleaner then men's restrooms, let's face it, peeing straight into the toilet sitting down is much different than one drunk guy who can't control his stream and pees all over the place. Also tampons and stuff like that, I'm sure a man would freak out to see blood on the toilet. If they want to do a gender neutral bathroom it is only responsib…

Holy crap... That article is written by a donkey. This is an actual quote from it: "We know that with school closures, girls, especially in low-income communities, are at higher risk of increased gender-based violence, early marriage and a higher rate of [child] pregnancy,” Ms Simpson told The Telegraph. “All of this together is very concerning. For many of them, their future is disappearing or taking a really dark turn.”

I am going through major depression for a few years, so I think my mind is tricking me a little bit in terms of my work ethic. I had a few years where I had terrible brain fog and lots of trouble writing and even trying to just compose an email. I have worked in restaurants (about 8 different positions including waitress, host, cashier, and cook) and I worked since I was 14. I used to love coming home after a hard day's work. Maybe I will want to work, but being depressed all the time doesn't mo…

I'm simply stating my life goals and that I'd like to get a job but I would rather give my kids my full attention if my husband is well off. I'm not saying that women who work are any less than me, we have the freedom to choose how we want to live our life. Maybe there will be circumstances where I will be forced to work and also raise kids and I am ok with that if I am still happy. But you only get one life so live it to the fullest! Thanks for saying I'm cool.

I'm a woman against feminism. I don't get what is so unique about a woman that works. Why do they need to be praised for deciding to have a career instead of raising children? Personally I just don't get the logic. I'm totally cool with staying home, raising children and doing all the housework. That sounds easy and fun! I'm in college but I don't plan to get a job if my husband already is well off, and I will probably get a job if I get bored in my 50s.
