We just had a fight - I tried to talk to him and he just ignored me/shot me down. I got really frustrated and emotional and he was just cold and said I was seeing ghosts, that he didn't flirt, that I'm not putting any effort. I tried to get him to explain what it is that I'm not doing, but he wont. Says he has said it so many times. I had no clue that he was so unsatisfied again - he doesn't communicate with me. I had written an email to him last night where I wrote: "When I see you charming ano…

Sorry, yes of course! My husband and I have been together for 15 years (not technically married), living together for 14 years, two kids and one more due to arrive any moment. My husband found TRP/MRP 3 years ago and immediately applied. He has been verbal regards to his satisfaction with TRP and what you can achieve with it. I know he has studied PUA tactics and practiced day game. He says he hasn't cheated on me (only flirted) and that is was part of his journey. And that it is in the past and…

Having an abortion is not like having a birthmark removed (to me at least), it is a huge decision with a lot of feelings and hormones involved. In the end, I just couldn't do it.

Eh no, we had agreed that we would tell our kids and family on Christmas day. Then a week before Christmas when he tells his best friend, he writes me an email shortly after saying he doesn’t want to tell the kids/parent on Christmas day now.

Ehh no, we had agreed that we would tell the kids and our parents on Christmas day. Then hours after telling to his best friend, he writes me that he doesn’t want to do that anymore.

Prior to him going red pill, I had only ‘blown up’ once when I discovered he had had a private lap dance at a club. Him going red pill really has definitely triggered my insecurities, but I haven’t ‘blown up’ for the past 8 months, so I wouldn’t characterise it as a regular issue. But it is something, I’m very aware of and I’m working on improving. And this post has certainly spurred me to fix it quicker.

Before the financial crises, he did support me/our family. But we lost everything; our house, his entire income and savings we only managed to stay in this (nice) area because I had been investing some of my money and Because I have a really well paid job. Now, for the past six months he has gained his financial stability back and he is starting to provide again.

Thank you for your response and action points! Just to be clear: i do have a mild attachment issue, NOT severe (therapist words). Also, the “fucking other men” was said once in despair (SO had chatted up a mom at our son’s soccer team, which have taken a huge emotional toll on me and I wanted to hurt back - this is of cause absolutely no excuse, it is a big no go to say and it is something I have regretted and excused for many times. I think that this post has most of all had me realise that SO …

Thank you for your response. I had to have my cobber iud removed after five years. SO suggested he’d get a vasectomy. I didn’t want him to while we were still in our thirties. He then wanted me to get on the pill but doctors have advised me against this due to my age and also due to deep vein thrombosis (I’ve had two operations), so I really didn’t want hormonal birth control. Instead we used Natural Cycles (a certified birth control app). We had a couple of instances where I only just stopped h…

This is a bit unrelated to the arguments part of this great post, but in your post's introduction you mention a "you and me vs the world" type of world/relation view. How can I help create this in my relationship? My SO is MRP and he doesn't view me as "on his team" and says that his biggest mistake was ever listening to what I said. He compares interacting with me/women as hostile negotiations. Is it possible to get from this view to a "you and me vs the world"? If yes, how?

I really - REALLY appreciate that my husband often goes out of his way to make me comfortable and feel loved. Like if I've got the munchies, he will go get my favorite candy, if I can't find my phone charger, he will find one for me, bring me a glass of watee after sex (:-p) or perhaps he will get me a cup of tea if I'm resting in the sofa. It makes me feel loved and special - and I love him to bits for taking such good care of me!

I can only agree with all the others: Thank you for all your hard work! And then quote Lykke Li: "I I follow..." :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSSssEcJf_U

Yes you are right - it is so cruel! My biggest regret is that I didn't realise this twelve years ago: I ruined the most wonderful man imaginable...

Update: i suggested a family outing earlier today and made sure to let him know that i appreciate when he takes time to do this and how much I enjoy doing things as a family. This will be my strategy going forward and hopefully he will start to initiate more activities. Tips on the garden are still very welcome ;)

How can I encourage SO to suggest more activities for us to do as a family and to do some of the practical stuff that needs fixing around the house and in the garden without coming off as a nagging wife?

Thank you for the link. I will look into this together with him. Good advice - hard to implement, but I will definately try my best keeping your quotes in mind, thank you for this.

This week has been entirely UGLY, UGLY, UGLY, I'm afraid. I really thought I was making such great progress and we had an amazing holiday abroad last week. The kids were fabulous and SO and I were so intimate and close. We even briefly discussed a third child. But on our trip back home, I saw him glanzing (what I at the time perceived as flirting) at a young blonde girl and all my insecurities came back full speed and I immediately put up a huge wall... And I started reading on MRP again which f…

Just a small - but still effective trick - try not to drink any calories. Only drink water, tea or coffee (and only black coffee). Drinking calories quickly adds up and they dont leave you full and satisfied.

yes he knows about RP he found RP by himself and introduced me to RPW see above I'm still on a learning curve. But I'd like to think that acceptance has been pretty smooth so far regarding RPW. I'm having a harder time with some of the male aspects of RP no it doesn't make me feel fucked up - i have deliberately tried to steer clear of getting into relationships with pure alphas (after a brief encounter in my youth). A pure alpha would not enrich my life or give me anything but constant worries …

The good I'm starting to really grasp that I - and only I - have the sole responsibility for my own happiness and that I have to prioritise my self care every day and cannot depend on SO for my happiness and good mood I'm doing a lot more activities with the kids and as a bonus have deeper conversations with them Reading The Surrended wife The bad I'm having trouble accepting/not getting annoyed by some of my SO's acquired alpha behaviour. I try to focus on all the good consequences that him fin…

I totally agree with you. I think it is important to experience a bit of thrill together. Doing something that is out of the ordinary, something fun to talk about for months to come. On his last birthday, I gave my SO an air tunnel flying experience that we would do together (without the kids). It was so much fun (and challenging for me ;)) We are also both homebodies that enjoy snuggling in front of netflix on most nights. But this type of thrilling activity can be highly recommended for a fun …

So in order to be able to quickly move on in the case of a divorce, you would disrespect and hurt your wife by practicing pick up artistry throughout the relationship?

This is much appreciated, thank you PhantomDream09 for taking the time to explain so thoroughly! This has been very helpful indeed.
