He isn’t disagreeing with your first paragraph. What he is saying is that women suffered negative consequences for their behavior prior to the welfare state, such as social ostracism and being a major financial burden on their families. Today, with the welfare state, their poor decisions are bailed out by the taxpayer and they are actually hailed as heroes and martyrs instead the of burdens in society that they actually are.

If I'm OP, I would confront the wife first, and give her an opportunity to do the right thing. If she refuses, than an anonymous note to the father saying to get a paternity test. It's the moral thing to do. The harmony is already gone. The house is already ruined. He just doesn't know it.

Was To Kill a Mockingbird a political movement also? This book is #2 of most influential pieces of literature of all time, second to the Bible. Objectivism is not a political movement, but a philosophical movement. The fact that we have ignored it for decades explains why our society is so doomed. Not to mention, going Galt is essentially the business equivalent of swallowing TRP. We need more women like Ayn Rand.

I always considered this speech Red Pill https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj8rMwdQf6k Peter Schiff (alpha) explaining to a room of mortgage bankers (betas) in 2006 how they were destroying the country. 90% of this room was unemployed less then three years later.

I'm not suggesting that the post be removed. Quite the opposite. I think it's important for people new to TRP to see that they are not alone in the transition from BP to RP. There was a time in my life when I suffered from depression also, pretty much all four years of college. I was BP as it gets. beta orbiter, oneitis, alcoholic, all of it. I majored in economics and all I was taught was the Keynesian school. I supported George Bush and was a war hawk. Like the BP tendencies with women, I knew…

The most accurate prediction of the 2008 financial crises was a book called "Crash Proof 2.0" that was released in January 2007. There are some good lessons in there that are still applicable today.

Not sure how many people will agree with me on this, but it's important to start accumulating physical gold and silver while prices are at these low levels. As a college kid, silver is probably your best bet. Find a coin shop in your area and buy 1 oz at a time regularly. YouTube: Peter Schiff Was Right
