Ive gotten into several arguments with my boss that I should be allowed to wear a Kilt or Shorts during the hot season since my female coworker is allowed to wear skirts and dresses as long as they are 2 inches above the knee or longer where Im required to wear slacks.

WOW this gets complicated and lengthy quick. Im 34 single dad of a special needs 6 year old boy. I have full time custody. What has been difficult about being a single dad? Well there are the things I see talked about here, suspicion in normal situations (IE taking my son to the park, I will get odd looks and 50% of the time approached and asked who Im there with and where the mom is), punishing him in public will result in a similar mix of reactions. Teacher conferences; She sat there for 20 mi…

"They sometimes do make those fights but those arent the fights Im interested in." Would be my reply. Custody Divorce Alimony Forced Conscription (draft) Higher Suicide rates less support centers to me those are the fights that matter, and none of them are the fights shes claiming they are looking at. To me thats a perfect reason for me to go and fight my battles and not get bogged down in the issues they are willing to let me fight for.

The bottom line is X is being paid by one parent for me to another. The parent recieving that money isnt using it all for the purpose it is paid. Its decietful, manipulative and greedy. I believe I am well within my rights to want that money paid for me to be used on me. That is the advice I am looking for. Hi, I am so sorry for everything you are going through. I dont know all your legal story and if your divorced yet or not. A man who fails to register may, if prosecuted and convicted, face a fine of up to $250,000 and/or a prison term of up to five years. Even if not tried, a man who fails to register with Selective Service before turning age 26 may find that some doors are permanently closed. One of the other points is this: STUDENT FINANCIAL AID Men, born after December 31, 1959, who aren't register…

not always an advantage This is still an advantage. If they pick three more useless people, then your right it isnt an advantage. I know next to nothing about this specific boat race but if its like similar ones the biggest factor is going to be endurance. With 3 extra people to work into the rotation they should be working with a more energetic crew over every boat that is 3 people shorter on the crew list. So your sort of right, it may not always be used to their advantage but it is one.

Most professional sports have separate leagues or divisions for men and women. The Volvo is one of the few endeavors where the door is open for mixed-gender competition. To eliminate typical strength deficits between SCA and the fleet, the race has allowed the women to carry three extra crew members, a total of 11, to tackle the rigors of lifting and trimming sails. How is having to change the rules to give an extra advantage opening a door for "mixed-gender competition" How are they going to ex…

Ive read back through our conversation and dont see an argument laid out other than "it doesnt account for the childs birth." the man essentially has the same options, but his options are affected by whether or not the woman wants to abort it or not. exactly, his choices are only valid if she agrees with them. You have successfully argued my point that she has choices and he has none. Then the dead beat father shouldn't be having sex, especially in a manner that would have increased chance of having children. I don't really see how it's "extra protection" for the man as much as an extra detriment to the woman. How is e…

Sorry I was on a vacation over the weekend. Sucks that I'm getting downvoted though. It does and isnt fair. Silencing either side makes it harder to have open discussions! if the guy doesn't want to have kids and he's hooking up with random girls then he's taking a risk. the same with the girl. But it is fundamentally NOT the same risk. She has 3 options (Keep it, Adopt it, Abort it) if an accident happens he has ZERO. you start off by saying I didn't answer any of your questions, then proceed to portray how I engaged your points You engaged but did not answer them until this post. First I dont see an answer to a single question I asked. Did you read what I wrote? There is risk I agree there is several risk factors any time you engage in any sexual activity. (pregnancy, STI's) If there is a good case to be made where the father did not want to have children and took all the necessary precautions So do we agree the man in this example would qualify if he was using a condom? In one of the songs in the video, her evil empire point is that the singer names 2 boys names and that they want boots and guns (I think) and then names 2 girls and says they want Dolls and dresses (IDK what they wanted now, but they were traditional female gender toys) and by saying they want gendered toys they are reinforcing the traditional gender roles and thats why the song is evil.

I abhor men’s rights activists. This is mainly because they do not campaign for the rights of men, but against the rights and expansion of the societal presence and role of women. Right off the bat, at least we know the author is unbiased, and fair. we shouldn’t just work for white straight cis men, but also for men of color, gay men, bisexual men and transgender men. Any person sick enough to commit rape isnt waiting to get permission from their friends via jokes and poorly worded comments. None of us know whats going to make a person commit crimes, or we wouldnt have any crime left in the world. because it's not 100% effective the fact that non-technological birth-control is also not 100% effective is a red herring. This sentence is a red herring. Your attempting to portray birth-control methods and coitus interruptus as similar in effectiveness. This is provably not a true statement. Source coitus interruptus is the least effective form of birth control, the most being abstaining.

Yet, anal, oral, manual, frottage and any number of other forms of copulation work just fine without pregnancy. Potentially yes, they all carry a risk of pregnancy tho, none of those are 100% effective. Withdrawal requires a great deal of control and is risky, but if it's done right, it works, contrary to what the birth-control pushers claim. It doesn't work for stupid teenagers because they don't have enough control. No, it doesnt. You can still get pregnant from Pre-ejaculation, which most guy…

Stop pretending the only way to create a legal contract is to hire a team of lawyers, and that anything else is scribblings on a napkin. I'm not a lawyer That is obvious. Assuming he brought his lawyer, notary public, and court system to bed with him, yes. If not, no, she still has the right to abortion, or to parent or to adopt. Thats exactly the reason to feel empathy for this man or anyone stuck like this. A lot of times leaving isnt possible. More so when you take into account his limited options for help. Yes saying "just leave" is easy, the actually being financially, logistically, legally, able to isnt always easy. According to the most recent Census data, the median paycheck for Americans is $26,364, which means half of Americans made more and half made less. If most women can’t see themselves dating a man who makes $26,000 or less, then we have our answer: No, the average man cannot afford a girlfriend. This confuses me. Are they claiming more than a majority of women will only date men that make more money than they do? If half of Americans make $26k/year I would assume roughly half those people to be m…

ironic misandry is more than just a sarcastic retort to the haters; it’s an in-joke that like-minded feminists tell even when their critics aren’t looking, as a way to build solidarity within the group. This I just dont get. In one breath we hear "all rape jokes promote rape" or "all racists jokes make you racists" but "all misandry jokes are only ironic, and men need to man up and take it" This crazy double standard seems to be in every message they put out.

And therefore my sympathy level for him is 0. Really? Why? If your a regular on this sub AT ALL you know his options for help and support are severely limited or probably nonexistent. I dont know his story, I dont know the reasons he wont leave (maybe him leaving would result in the focus of the abuse to shift to his kids?) I can say I feel sympathy for anyone (man or woman) that feels so trapped. Life cant be easy, happy, or fun.

She should have made better decisions on drinking alcohol? yes she should have. More like the adults in the room should have acted like adults and not given her the alcohol and then take advantage of the drunk minor afterwards Again I dont see it as taking advantage of anyone, she went there to have group sex and get drunk. I do however see her regretting her decision after being attacked (for who knows how long) about her sexual choices, on national TV. Slut shaming is wrong and is the issue we…

I mean I guess we could take the guy brow beating minors for ratings word on it, or we could look at the fact that the police told them there was no crime. she didn't go there to have group sex, she went there to have sex with one or two guys What does group mean to you? group gro͞op/Submit noun a nu…

In the meantime (let’s be serious – I’d say about 100 years before boys are told they’re beautiful as often as girls are told they’re strong) one of the best things that a male feminist can do is to shut up and let a woman do the talking. In one breath we are told that male equality is still 100 years away but that we need to shut up, and man up. So sad. He then goes on to plug his feminist wife's play or some such thing. So is this just a fluff piece so he can do some shameless self promoting? …

I'm ignoring the retirement age thing. You kind of cant. Its the meat of the argument. If they ages were equal then MB wouldnt have any issues. Im not sure why that makes any matter to you. Would it be better if they were in another country? Its still hundreds of men dying in needless pain for a tradition. A leaf was then placed on Percy's penis and tied up with a string, he said. “If you complained about the pain, the string was tightened even more.” The initiates were painted white, a colour meant to ward off evil, and left in the hut for a week. Experts say the move might not be such a bad idea given the gruesome nature of the crime. Arias admitted killing Alexander at his suburban Phoenix home but said it was self-defense. He was stabbed nearly 30 times, had his throat slit and was shot in the forehead. Prosecutors argued it was premeditated murder carried out in a jealous rage when Alexander wanted to end their affair. Self defense obviously.

From the link for the lazy: Hermesmann v. Seyer (State ex rel. Hermesmann v. Im so lost after reading the article. I disagree fully. The obesity level of someone is directly related to their health and well being. I think my other post just below this shows that with 80% of the top ten causes of death in America being related to being fat. If you are fat you are at a higher risk of having health issues. If you are at a higher risk you are less healthy than someone who has less risk. Your right I dont see drug addicts shamed as often. Of the top ten causes of death in the United States (where I am from, and where obesity is most rampant) 8 of the top 10 causes of death are related to being over weight. The other two are not weight or drug related so maybe thats why we see more "shaming" of fat people (there is an argument that the other two Accidents and Suicides are drug related).

why isnt it ok to shame fat people? They live an unhealthy lifestyle. They cost us tons of money every year (through our health care premiums) I dont think anyone would be against shaming drug addicts or other people that are being a burden on the world.
