I feel like that's the most infuriating part, they're promoting the acceptance of prostitution and calling it empowering at the expense of these victimized women who would take any opportunity to get out of the industry. It's been shown in the Netherlands that decriminalizing prostitution led to increased trafficking, but somehow that never comes up as a talking point for them.

My experience exactly, they seemed to want a lot of emotional investment and even commitment while I wasn't looking for anything. I think they expect you to be clingy and when you aren't, they feel insecure and try to prove they can "get" you.

Yeah I can't with that sub. Seems like every time I went there, there was a "Sex isn't about orgasms!" post on the front page, always posted by women and upvoted to the thousands mostly by men who want to feel better about not making an effort.

There is no equality unless there’s financial equality and this applies to relationships too. Agree with the whole post but this especially. There is no equal footing if he makes and spends most of the money and no matter how many times he says he likes providing or whatever, he still has the upper hand.
