Yeah, this girl is pretty shy. Before I stopped talking to her the first time, I kind of realized that she made up lies to make herself more interesting. Like, she claimed she was from Canada but was really from Central America and that she's a year older than she actually is. Two superficial lies that kind of show how insecure she is. The worst part of it is not knowing if I was deemed less "fit" because I believed the lie. I was 16 when all of this went down and I thought I did a good job at being stoic/masculine but I can't help but think that she saw me in a worse light because I fell for it.

If you hold your own bitcoins you have nothing to worry about. If you keep your coins in shady exchanges then there's a chance you may get your assets stolen. The chance of this happening is really low though.
