My husband told me that I was his before he ever said "I love you" and it was maybe a few weeks after that I made the leap and said it. I knew he loved me, but I didn't want to say it first! I waited until I couldn't contain it anymore haha

I do my own waxing (pubes, legs and underarms) with a sugar wax! The only ingredients are sugar, water and lemon juice; but what I save in $$$ I sacrifice in time. It just takes me longer to tear my own hair out than a professional, but I don't like the cost or conventional wax they used at the local salons. Sugar wax only sticks to hair and washes off with water. If you're good about keeping up with it, it hurts less the more often you do it, and it lasts way longer than shaving.

I just order it on Amazon, either through Prime or from a Japanese carrier--the former is a little more expensive, while the latter takes forever to ship. It's a great sunscreen, but it does contain alcohol, which can be a concerning ingredient for people with dry skin.

My new holy grail products are by Mario Badescu. I rarely break out, but when I do, these two things save the day for me! The Drying Lotion is great for your run of the mill acne/white heads. A little dab of this (admittedly smelly) pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle at night helps noticeably shrink the size of the worst white heads in a day or two. I use either Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence or Biore UV Perfect Face Milk, both SPF 50/PA++++. I put it on in the morning if I'm leaving the house, and reapply (if I'm not wearing foundation, which I rarely do) before leaving work/after 2ish hours. I've been great about wearing sunscreen for a few years now, but I'm trying to be better about reapplying!

No gimmicks! It was probably the Dr Thayer's line, and they're pricey, but worth it imo. The rose petal is my favorite, but the lavender smells amazing too.

Seconding Twilight! My phone's latest update included a blue-light filtering element, but I like the color and adjustments on Twilight better. I run a program called f.lux on my computer to do the same thing.

Alcohol can be overly-drying depending on your skin type. Followed with a good moisturizer, the witch hazel you have now could still be a good toner. I used to add lavender oil to your run of the mill drug store witch hazel (which probably had alcohol in!) it and suffered no ill effects.

I use Dr Thayer's Rose Petal witch hazel, but there are tons of other varieties by them (lavender, cucumber, etc) that are all alcohol free. In the morning I use to freshen up my skin from the night before (rather than cleansing again) and in the evening, I sometimes use it after cleansing as a toner.

I double cleanse at night to remove sunscreen/any make up, but in the morning all I do is a splash of water and some alcohol free witch hazel on a cotton round before starting my morning skincare routine. Sometimes less cleansing is more; try both and see what works for you.

I keep a small jar of it in the bathroom and use a spoon to scoop it out. I love it for everything, but my favorite use is as a body moisturizer instead of lotion. It just melts in your hand!

I got engaged at 22, and initially planned for a longer engagement than we actually had. But upon hearing that we were supposedly going to be engaged for almost two years put people more at ease with the idea.
