I have met a handful of pious Muslim individuals who I thought were some of the kindest, most generous men I've ever met. However, look at the European countries who have large Muslim populations, especially ones that accept refugees. Violent crime and actual rape in broad daylight have gone way up. In either case it depends on how long you plan on keeping these things and how well they are maintained. I have clothes that are 10 years old and still wear them daily, while the rest should be thrown out. Depreciation of my vehicles is irrelevant. I plan to keep and maintain my car and truck as long as they will drive. If I ever buy a bike again, same thing.

The psychology discussed in this sub is interesting. Rationally recognizing manipulation/abuse in a relationship, or even a passing conversation, and understanding why it's happening, then ending it, is a skill that can be used anywhere with anyone to protect yourself from getting fucked.
