It's very common and nothing to get in a tizzy about. As for the is/are part, sorry but you're just wrong. 4	Woman jailed for sexually abusing boy after judge says "gender is irrelevant" and he cannot lower the sentence just because the victim is a boy Wouldn't that have the opposite effect? If I was a juror in a trial of a woman charged with unlawful sexual connection, I'd be much more likely to consider it less severe than rape. That's often the vibe on NZ news website comments, from what I can tell (I live in NZ and read such websites often), but unfortunately it's often less clued-in and more ignorant than you're making it out to be. I worry that the type of people who post to these sites are more often just speaking from a sexist position rather than a mens rights position. The beer will still be topped up at the end, after the first pour has all settled. Hmm... made a fair point (if not particularly original for regular readers of this sub) but he lost me when he corrected 'craftspeople' to 'craftsmen' during a shot of a female employee. I gotta say that I think this video fell into the trap routinely attributed to feminism around these parts: namely, it went beyond equality and seemed to be just that little bit too pro-men.
