"You're mansplaining"If you have seen it then I’ll trust you have, personally I’ve only seen it in the context I mentioned, and occasionally on social media when similar things happen (though then there’s almost no way of knowing if a person should know this so overexplaining yourself is usually good online) | /r/MGTOW2 | 28/06/21 03:25 PM
"You're mansplaining"Sort of, it’s overexplaining something when it’s uncalled for due to a man assuming a woman doesn’t understand it since she’s a woman (not since she’s inexperienced in the field). If a man is condescending about explanations then it’s immediately called mansplaining, even if it isn’t actually (but being condescending when explaining is obnoxious so idc if it’s used wrong the dude should shut up) On the other hand, a woman explaining in a condescending way is just her being annoying, and likely w… | /r/MGTOW2 | 28/06/21 02:10 PM
"You're mansplaining"I mean, the only times I’ve seen it legitimately used is when a man explains to a female colleague that has been working there as long, or even longer than him, the basic things you have to do in the job unprompted. Or similar situations | /r/MGTOW2 | 28/06/21 02:07 PM
"You're mansplaining"Ah yes, the old sexual assault and belittlement, I’m sure that’ll work super well in a professional setting! Or in any setting! | /r/MGTOW2 | 28/06/21 02:03 PM
Does anyone else find posts like this sickening?Yeah, I find it extremely sickening. How do we live in a world where this guy has to point out that there’s a ton of hypocrisy in the area of supporting mental health? And even worse, how are there so many people attacking him for saying that we should support all men during men’s mental health week, not just the men who conform to our ideas of being a man? | /r/MGTOW2 | 17/06/21 03:33 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sYeah, but I can blame the corrupt men that do bully women out of politics for doing just that. Also, in 2016 the majority of the country actually voted for Hillary, but trump won due to our electoral college (another thing that’s supposed to represent us but is mostly white men), and this is something that has very high re-election rates for incumbents since most people don’t care enough to replace them, meaning it’s been the same men that have been in it for 20, 30 years. If you don’t live in t… | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 08:14 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sYou can’t vote for women when men keep bullying women out of running, which is a very real thing that happens. Also, it’s not like getting the right to vote immediately means that you can make all the changes you want, it’ll take a couple generations of continual pushing Also, are you proud of having an IQ of 80 something? Because that’s a good bit below the average in the US, and you see how stupid a lot of people in the US are, so I wouldn’t be proud of it. IQ tests (official ones anyway) aren… | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 06:26 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sNo, it’s all the “oh that’s not an issue. Oh that could be an issue but it’s the women’s fault. That’s not an issue” that’s sexist Also, are you saying I have an 80+ IQ or you have an 80+ IQ? | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 05:47 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sWow, what a great example of a closeted sexist that doesn’t fully understand that to make any major point you need sarcasm as well as hyperbole | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 04:30 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sHow in the world do you get that from it | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 01:52 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sI wasn’t calling him racist, I was saying racism and sexism are both awful things that there’s no excuse for. And yep, I’m the dirt bag wearing a fedora, not the least bit ironic to call someone calling out the BS on this sub that | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 02:07 AM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sSo, because something in my life went wrong somewhere it’s fine if I’m sexist or racist? Sure, you don’t have to be happy when stuff goes wrong, but it doesn’t give you the right to be a jerk to anyone, or the right to look down on half of our species. Also, mental health in general isn’t funded, that’s not a male only issue. The male only issue is that it’s looked down upon (by other men) when men go to therapy, while it’s supported (by women) when women go. However, in my experience women stil… | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 12:51 AM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sI don’t frequent it, I saw a cross post and was like “I wonder what that sub will be about” and then saw how awful some of the posts were, like this one, and commented, and then apparently it got people ticked off since I called out a sexist remark so I’ve been replying to them. There is no way that me calling out someone sarcastically saying that women deserve to vote as sexist should reflect poorly on me | /r/MensRights | 26/10/20 12:10 AM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sReally? You read that post, or half the posts here, and don’t think they’re sexist? I feel like there’s around half of this sub that’s what you think it is, and the other half is sexists | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 11:49 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sWhen they sarcastically said “I’m tired of men getting to choose for women. Women should get the right to vote” | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 10:53 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sI don’t think it’s “riding in on a white horse” to point out that either this dude is an absolute moron, thinking it’s a good idea to sarcastically say women should have the right to vote and that isn’t sexist, or a completely sexist moron, thinking that women legitimately shouldn’t have the right to vote | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 01:43 PM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sYet this person mentioned it in a list of stuff that they don’t think women should have | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 01:15 PM
Do you think children should be circumcised when born or be left up to them to decide when they get older (like at least til they’re 15)?I’m inclined not to specifically due to you going “Answer the question.” Immediately afterwards with no indication I wouldn’t have | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 05:09 AM
Do you think children should be circumcised when born or be left up to them to decide when they get older (like at least til they’re 15)?I see how it might be an issue in some, but even after reading that I’m certain that there are much bigger reasons than circumcision for those issues. Also “more sensitive to pain” is utter BS in anything, as is any type of across the board measurement, because you cannot measure pain However, I see how it is an issue and why people are pushing to stop it, but I also see why devout religious people feel the need to do it, and the long term harm as far as I can tell is negligible, a potential inc… | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 03:24 AM
| -2 | I wish I could be an attractive, rich, white, womanI don’t have a place here because I disagree with one thing? No, I don’t have a place here because I’m not a sexist that wants to get up in arms about every injustice towards men because “women have it easy” And, I don’t see it as much of an issue but after actually being provided a few sources after a while of back and forth I see how in some men it is an issue | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 03:09 AM |
Do you think children should be circumcised when born or be left up to them to decide when they get older (like at least til they’re 15)?It doesn’t count as trauma lol, they have absolutely no recollection of it. I didn’t know they used nothing to numb it, sorry for my ignorance there. And yes, cutting off a few nerves and a little bit of skin will have less of an impact on the child’s life as their first hair cut. I’m not the one having an irrational debate and calling the other stupid but okay | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 02:50 AM
| -5 | Do you think children should be circumcised when born or be left up to them to decide when they get older (like at least til they’re 15)?How is it harming babies, last I checked they can numb pain, and it’s something that has absolutely no impact on their life | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 02:39 AM |
| -3 | Do you think children should be circumcised when born or be left up to them to decide when they get older (like at least til they’re 15)?If it’s a cultural or religious thing that will have no impact on their life, yes. Ears and toes are necessary to have good balance, sure you can live without them, but it will be difficult, especially when learning to walk around. Foreskin is simply just excess skin, it doesn’t harm them to remove it or leave it, and if someone is upset at their parents for removing it there’s probably more issues than that. Just let the cultures continue on, and the religions do what they believe is needed, so… | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 02:15 AM |
| -3 | Do you think children should be circumcised when born or be left up to them to decide when they get older (like at least til they’re 15)?No, it’s not. Foreskin isn’t a necessary thing to your life, eye lids most certainly are since we need to blink to keep our eyes moist. It would be closer to asking if they should just remove all appendices, but that’s still not valid since that’s a major surgery | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 01:40 AM |
If being a stay at home parent is oppression and being the working spouse is privilege, then Women would be marrying down en masseBeing forced to stay home unable to get a job, and therefore having to rely on a man and get married, Is oppression, especially to women that don’t want to marry at all, or women that want to marry other women. Having a choice is not oppression, some will choose to stay home, some will choose to work. What exactly is difficult to understand about this? | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 01:30 AM
15 Reasons I decided to go blue pilled ! /sSo, this is all sarcastic. So, you think women shouldn’t get the right to vote? Or should have to worry about when they go out alone at night? | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 01:19 AM
Guys Should Be Allowed to Compliment Their Friends and Be Complimented By Their FriendsYou’re wrong because that’s a very small portion of women. And if my single compliment makes it harder for someone down the line, then good, that means that the woman I complimented probably had self esteem issues and would’ve dated any creep that came onto her, now she won’t. Personally, I compliment my female friends all the time, and I compliment my male friends a bunch. This is slightly a social thing (guys it complimenting guys) but it’s mostly a personal issue, most people won’t judge you … | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 01:09 AM
| -7 | I wish I could be an attractive, rich, white, womanYou’d take constantly having to Carry some sort of defense when you go out at night alone, not being allowed to wear comfortable clothes in the heat without getting cat called/ stared at/ hit on (even if you have a wedding ring)/ called a slut, having pain for about a week every month, getting talked down to constantly, being passed over for promotions (even if they get the job for being a woman to fill a quota, nothing says they’ll get promoted)? Yes, some stuff sucks as a dude, but plenty suck… | /r/MensRights | 25/10/20 12:28 AM |
Presidential debate moderator says women hit hardest by Covid, despite fact that more men have died from it and continue to be at higher risk of death. It’s harder for less disciplined kids to sit in front of a zoom conference all day, it’s on the parents not the gender of the child, if it’s typically more males then that’s because the parents didn’t discipline their sons as much as they disciplined their daughters | /r/MensRights | 24/10/20 03:58 PM
Presidential debate moderator says women hit hardest by Covid, despite fact that more men have died from it and continue to be at higher risk of death.I mean in fairness, a lot of the men that died were being morons, while the women that lost their jobs just got dicked over. You can’t really do anything to help the stupid, but you can definitely help the unlucky | /r/MensRights | 24/10/20 03:55 PM
