1	It took me a long time to realise this, but women actually like to be approached. They also respect guys more who do. You do that shit for yourself, not to impress some rando chick. Ultimately, it's a waste of time trying to meet someone's perceived expectations, because none of that matters in the end. Also, women should feel it somewhat incumbent upon them to engage with men. 50	She is rooting for you I feel like the statement is a bit contradictory. The beginning of the excerpt states that the expectations that some men have of women “doling” out who has the privilege of their attention, or pussy or whatever, is not accurate. Yet, later goes into the various ways she prolongs the selection process. I mean, if the idea that she wants you to be the one gives you confidence, great. Good for you.
