0	After two short jail terms, high woman crashes again and gets 10 years and a lifetime driving ban Addiction is a mental illness and it also exacerbates current disorders. However, she didn’t seek out help or rehabilitation and committed the same crime twice. So she deserves to be locked up. She deserves an extra 10 years with rehabilitation. And no one is saying we should let them get off scot free if they are an addict, but if they’re a first time offender, rehabilitation is the best option, not incarceration. Edit: really?? Downvoted??
