The status quo is that women do not become parents unless they consent to become parents, which is a good thing. A woman can choose abstinence, or she can choose birth control (that she chooses and she controls), or even if these options fail or she fails to practice them, she can choose abortion in the event of an accidental pregnancy. You have to consider what you're doing with a prison sentence.
