I roomed with him in college. He was rather withdrawn and could be awkward if out of his habitat. He seemed to love women dating and he taught me a lot. He was studying Marriage and Family Therapy when I met him. Conservative he was, but not like an activist and not super aware of events and politics. Dude's neighborhood had land that was snatched up by developers who coordinated with rioters to cause chaos and drive out renters.

Be careful and don't fall into the trap of prosperity gospel. No need to keep up with the Joneses. We should as married people decide on needs, then wants.
