I work as a chemist in a laboratory with 2 females who I would consider to have "alpha" personalities and work ethics. They are incredibly anal and controlling, and they have tons of pull with management. They exude power, people listen when they speak, etc etc. Most importantly, they get shit done. The funny thing about women like this though, is that they find things to complain about and will do it non-stop. What really tickles me is that if there were to be a women's only hair place, men would not give a single fuck. There would literally be zero fucks given by any man. Why isn't it the same in this case, when the genders are reversed? Why do women care so much about a fucking men's only barber shop?

Meh, agree to disagree? Women tend to be really self-centered and self-conscious. She was probably just legitimately feeling like a slightly inadequate member of society when stacked up against somebody like that. Thoughts like that are what pop up from time to time in LTRs.
