SO MUCH THIS. The best devs ( MEN OR WOMEN) don't need to waste time on drama because they kickass. Period.

HN pretty much encourages bad code because "girl power".

Agree. The best developers who happen to be women don't engage in drama. Their tweets tend to be software related and very interesting.

This is the problem in software. White knights encouraging manipulative psychopaths and agreeing that "anything I don't like == rape".

Vagina quotas are the bane of software now. I get the logic behind diversity but they need to hire people who can actually do some good work. EDIT: why downvotes? All I said was we should hire qualified people

Not at all. I can work as a travelling nurse, nurse practitioner (basically a doctor), or work in a practice. These environments aren't 100% female and have a healthy mix of guys and gals. At school, I'm gonna be the only guy.

How did you handle group works and such ? Do you just do work with the older girls ?

Be good at something that makes money. Lift. Then you'll stop caring.

Made post about going to nursing school. Never read anything about surviving in an ALL FEMALE environment 24/7 for 2 years. I should log it so that someday, some one can learn from it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
