Surely there is a potential career in writing romantic comedies, if her PhD is worth anything.

It's probably not your personality. It's because, based upon your looks, they figure they've got a chance. I've had girls like you chase me for exactly the same reason. Accept that you don't have a chance and look at your actual options.

But that would discourage people from reporting their own fake rapes!

My first feature documentary ("Daddy I Do") which was highly acclaimed and won many awards was actually turned down by ALL distributors (including Magnolia Pictures, Netflix, HBO, etc) because of the low production value This one will get turned down by all distributors because they don't want to deal with harassment campaigns.

Sex on the beach is such an awful violation of common decency that they named a cocktail after it.

I thought more recent would be better for comparison if someone did a similar thing in future.

That submission is two years old and thus not in the sample.

This is a major privacy issue, but it's not a gender issue. Jealousy crosses genitals.

The people who make these posters don't think of men as reasonable, rational people.

It still misses the core issue. The question is whether people are allowed to hit people. Gender is irrelevant.

They're opposed to victim prevention. On a cold strategic level, it makes sense for them.

It's actually worse than it looks. The single post on the subject was a strawman argument. The posts on feminism on /r/mensrights had strawman arguments but also had actual quotes.

All the shirtgate drama is in fact anti-feminist I included it in 'clothing'. I think deciding what people are and are not allowed to wear is a distinct issue. Anti-feminist and pro-feminist are included in "Feminism", likewise for "Men's Rights". (The terminology was a mistake on my part, you're not the only person to be confused.) All the gamergate stuff is also anti-feminist in nature, unless MRM has taken upon it to promote "ethics in journalism". I didn't bother with a gamergate category. W…

Men's Rights and Feminism refer to the movements themselves.

Top 100 This Year

Links from This Year. I had to skip #6 on /r/feminism because it's gone, so #101 was included. "Other" means it was the only post on a topic. Categorisation is obviously subjective. "Catcalling" was separated from "Sexual Harassment" due to the recent controversy. "Self Image" includes body image and shaming, beauty standards, etc. Internal refers to community policing. EDIT: Men's Rights and Feminism refer to the movements themselves. I hope you find it interesting.

I've argued "for" feminism on a few instances. However I've noticed that when I argue, it's for changing a culture away form gender roles, and giving women the power to be more self reliant, and I focus on the problems that women face. It sounds like you were actually arguing for equality.

2/10 because I thought you were genuinely confused at first, but the simile ruined it.

A circle jerk is people complimenting each other for being in the right. An echo chamber is what happens when only one side of a debate is represented in a dialogue.

women bloggers, for example, report they are frequently the target of vicious verbal abuse, up to and including rape threats and death threats. Seriously? This is the internet, I've gotten death threats twice on reddit alone.
