I've been a frequent listener of multiple stations for years. They do not hide their bias, it's abundantly clear and not even consistent. Different reporters have different biases. This idea that a journalist can't have an opinion is absurd. As long as they are telling you the full story and presenting both sides, there is nothing virtuous about pretending to be a robot. And even discussing this is completely overstating their bias.

"NPR," is an assortment of editors, teams, and stations, not a monolith. The fact that this was "reported," in basically an editorial format should not detract from their news credibility. No network is without some bias but NPR is one of the few news sources the mainstream can watch or listen to that actually maintains some journalistic integrity.
