my boyfriend said I was different and also said I've never met anyone like you before. He's also said, you're hot but there's so much more to you. He also spoils me with gifts, flowers, dinners, offers to buy groceries, drives me to work and picks me up after work when he can, tries to see me as much as possible... so I have no problem with these words :)

Yeah my ex said to me once 'why are you so hostile' I was so confused that I had a blank moment and thought 'wait what, I didn't say anything hostile'. Extremely manipulative.

Let them keep complaining. Also what he did is what I'm sure lots of guys do / have done or will do at some point in their life.

I stayed 8 months with a guy who was bad at sex. He had slept with more people too. When we started having problems, I was gone pronto. I loved him to pieces but he started being a jerk to me, and was very insecure. I couldn't handle that plus bad sex too.

This has been true from my experience as well. Guy said he was 5ft10 (I'm 5ft6). When we met I noticed we were looking at each other at the same eye level, I wasn't wearing my usual heels that day either but wore flats due to hurting my ankle a bit the day before. Silly me decided to give him a chance only to be rejected by him a couple days later. I've decided if a guy lies about anything, be it appearance, height, whatever, I'm going to say "hey I can't see this working out, good luck" and jus…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
