Lol classic. And same for us. He makes us a big pancake breakfast most sundays and people get overly excited if they hear about it.

This reminds me of how when my husband takes the kid to the grocery store or the park or whatever, he gets showered with praise and gifts from strangers. Like, someone literally bought him flowers for just... taking our child to the store. Me? Nothing. He is a great dad, don’t get me wrong, but I’m a great mom and nobody says shit to me lol

Yeah but... yes it was my father’s but I’ve lived my whole life with that last name, it’s mine now. I really don’t care either way if women change it or not but I DO think it’s a red flag when the dude is a hard liner about the woman taking his name.

Good friend worried about asking her new boyfriend to stop jack-rabbiting during sex, she didn’t want to make him feel like he was bad in bed Acquaintance saying her boyfriend loves her so much that he threatened to hang himself every time she had other plans 😣

Well said. I kept getting sucked back in with my narc abusive ex, over and over, until I went full block/delete/no contact. He ended up stalking me to get a reaction but I never spoke to him again. It was hard because I actually liked some of his friends but it was the best decision of my life. Best of luck to you OP! Stay strong!!!

I faked a lot in my first few relationships. It becomes this horrible self perpetuating cycle. I’m almost 40 and I have mind blowing sex with my husband. Men who get turned on by giving their partner pleasure do exist!!!

This gives me hope, thank you!!

Yep dated a 27 year old (who was a father!) when I was 19. He actually wasn’t the shittiest guy I ever dated, just a man child who was controlling and discouraged me from going out or dressing the way I wanted. He was negative about everything I liked, he only wanted me to be into the same things he was. If I knew then what I know now...

Nothing to say really but I’ve seen a lot of really awful stories today and this warmed my heart. Wishing you a speedy recovery!! ❤️

Yes with caveats? My partner can use his fingers to stimulate my g spot and it’s insanely intense and amazing, like a full body orgasm for minutes at a time. It’s definitely not an orgasm like from my vibrator or his tongue, but it is very satisfying. Usually we do both lol but sometimes just the g spot is enough!

So glad to hear this helped someone in some way. I do think it’s biological. Some people probably really struggle with that vulnerability. Sometimes it feels like a missing limb, when my kid isn’t with me. It’s scary and difficult. I think I have residual PPD/PPA that emphasizes it but I’ve talked to other parents who have the same feeling. Sending positive energy your way ❤️

Yes and just fear of the unknown and destabilizing their children’s lives. Better to know you have a roof over your head than be living out of a car/on the street with children. It can be a trap. I’m so glad my abusive ex didn’t impregnate me like he wanted to!!!! (I do have a child with a caring man who is a wonderful father)

Yes absolutely. This is so important to know. Many men will hurt their own children to get at the mother of the child. Frightening.

I’m glad it made at least a little bit of sense! I think it’s really important ❤️

Here’s another thing I don’t often seen talked about. Maybe this is weird and/or too sensitive but when you have a child you are made very vulnerable. It’s true what they say, your heart lives outside of you. I love my kid more than I love myself, and I worry about her future constantly. Some of that is my anxiety, yes, but I think it’s pretty natural. So just having something you love that much, and worry about that much, definitely takes away from your self sufficiency. The love is amazing, an…

Oh that’s so interesting! Must be some sort of hormonal thing? I found it totally fascinating, it’s like puberty all over again.

Yeah my linea negra wasn’t permanent, although I have read for some women it is.

People say awful shit to pregnant women, constantly. It’s wild.

That’s so weird... I mean yes cats procreate at an insane rate and should absolutely be fixed, but it’s also an issue with dogs! Not to mention the extremely problematic dog breeding industry... hmm

I’ve seen too many stories of cats getting lost, I would never put my cat in baggage! She is being a responsible pet owner

Yup red flag for me too! Like, it’s okay if you’re allergic, or are just kind of meh about animals in general, but an intense hatred of cats in particular is a huge problem. And they usually loudly make themselves known, so that’s helpful lol

Oh shit you’re totally right about Lay Lady Lay, that never clicked with me before. Damn it, I love that song 😂

Yeah that’s tough. It was a little scary at first but I also track my cycle and we avoid PIV sex entirely when I’m in my fertile window, or sometimes I ask him to pull out even though he’s also using a condom. We already have one kid (planned) and definitely do not want another, and so far so good. Of course everyone is different, and it’s so important to stay safe and no babies til you want them (if ever)! Maybe talk to a doctor about non hormonal options? Some people love the copper IUD but I …

Yep did the pill thing when I was younger and the hormones made me insane. Extreme anxiety, depression, weight gain. Just so the dude I was with could forgo condoms. Fuck that. I’ve been off the pill for over a decade, in a LTR and we happily use condoms.

Yes absolutely! Putting on a diaper wrong can lead to chafing, diaper rash or leaking (making more laundry!) Imagine being so fucking lazy you take it out on a helpless infant. Infuriating!!

Yep just victim blaming and mockery. One gem of a person even said it was responsible of the husband to be sexting with his cousin, because that way he wouldn’t actually go fuck her and it would stay “a fantasy”? Yeah ok.

Yes, all of my sex partners have worked hard to give me orgasms, even the LVM ones, although in those cases it was more about their ego than my pleasure.

Exactly, thank you! I mean I guess it’s better than his other favorite horror movie, Pieces, which I’m not even going to describe because it’s disgusting and disturbing

A “friend” bullied me into watching that movie when I was like, 17. It was traumatizing. He said it was feminist because the woman gets revenge 🙄

Lol yeah I don’t know why I never made that connection before. It’s so weird because he literally had nothing to worry about, it was a really nice dick (attachedto a trash human unfortunately) But he was obsessed and wanted me to constantly go on about it... not sexy

I had an ex with a pretty big dick who was really really insecure about his size and I never understood why. He was also a porn addict. Never put two and two together, lightbulb moment for me, thanks!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
